"We treasure beautiful and heartfelt memories of Pestana Royal. We felt welcome from the first moment we arrived. All the staff was very professional, helpful, efficient and always worked with a smile. The facilities swimming pools, SPA, gym, the bedroom and the restaurants were always immaculate and clean. The food was excellent, with an incredible variety of dishes from all around the world and for every palate, including a daily selection of fresh tropical fruit. The dessert range was really wide from 'semi-frozen', to tropical fruit cakes and mousse to chocolate and coffee gateau. A stunning addition to the hotel is a very well maintained tropical garden. Via a lift we could easily reach the sea in Formosa Beach and admire the vulcanic rocks. Last but not least, Lokali a well advertised portal with plenty of activities showing around the hotel making it easy for guests to browse and book online."

"We had a wonderful vacation! The rooms, buildings, and pools were awesome! We ate out in town mostly but the breakfast buffet came in clutch on travel days and excursion days. It had a great selection and was pretty good. The only thing is the lunch options weren’t that great. They didn’t have a ton of Portuguese food options and I thought they would have poncha since it’s such a famous drink. But overall it was a wonderful stay and a wonderful vacation! I highly recommend!"

"Bardzo miła pani recepcjonistka która sporo doradziła i opowiedziała o wyspie. Na powitanie lokalne wino. Jednak te zdjęcia przy bukowaniu to ściema. Hotel dosyć daleko od centrum i basen na dachu malitki"

"Really nice hotel with great natural surroundings. It’s a short ride from city centre and there is a shuttle bus that goes out. Well kept gardens and relaxing pool. Good food at the hotel too."
