When i'm in Boca Chica I always stay at Hotel Garant. 1 block from the beach very peaceful and tranquil when you need to sleep.
Bedding changed daily.
Good breakfast.
Anything you need the manager will take care of it.
Best security guard around.
In room safes.
Good a/c and hot water.
I been coming to Boca Chica since 2006 and this is always my spot.
I will continue staying here every time I visit the Dominican. This hotel is my safe place and the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. It’s so welcoming and highly appreciate their great hospitality .

Je comprend, Boca Chica n'est pas une destination comme les autres mais à l'hotel Garant nous faisont de notre mieux pour offrir un séjour magnifique à tous nos clients.
While I was showering, the shower head shot off the pipe and nearly hit me in the forehead. The TV kept shutting off and loosing connection. The room was not kept up.

Sorry to hear about your recent event at Hotel Garant & Suites. The room you were in was newly renovated and cleaning is done daily unless you keep the do not disturb sign. I apologize for the shower head, these thing do happen and it is hard to prevent with the hard water in Dominican Republic even with our filtration system. We will try better next time.

Thank you, Yes now all the Luxury Queen room on the first floor have a renovated bathroom. We are very please that renovation were finish for the high season and we apologize for the inconvenience cause this summer.
Even people that don't stay here still come here for the breakfast. It's just that good and very reasonably priced. Thanks Vicki for your excellent service and attitude.
Excellent hotel. The number one thing being the people who work there.

Great value dangerous protruding shelf
The hotel is well located and very reasonably priced. Sadly the bedroom has a cable TV box mounted 5’ tall. It sticks out and is dangerous. In one night two near misses and one scraped head. Good breakfast prepared fresh. I will stay again but get rid of the cable box shelf!!!!

That property is the worst I never been to. Not updated, a lot of mosquitos,toilet not working properly, unsafe area. I won’t recommend that even to my enemy.

Sorry you had a bad experience. We have started to renovate our room, but unfortunately the work is not completed yet and some construction may have been happening during your stay. You came during raining season, mosquito is to be expected sometime in that period of the year. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay.
Hotel Garant staff make you very welcome, Julissa and Jean were helpful with advice and all round customer Service, Boca Chica has a certain reputation, the staff understand this and do not interfere if a guest brings back a ‘guest’ to his room as long as she has a valid ID.

Yes that is what we mean by Guess friendly unlike other Hotel who charge extra from 15US up to 50US for those extra guess.
The professional service by every staff member is done with a smile.
If you have a problem, let them know, and it's taken care of.
And i would like to give a special thank you to Alicia and Vicki for providing probably the best breakfast in town.

We experienced a major water leak that week and it has been since resolved. No sewage water were involved and your safety in no way at risk. And as far as billing is concern, we have not been paid and will not request payement. Please contact customer service accordingly. This was not your first stay and we are sorry you experience this temporary but out of our control situation while we were sold out.
There was a water leak in the bathroom, no microwave, no iron or ironing board. 1 piece of gym equipment and it doesn't work

True, we had the worst water leak in our history and we are sorry for the inconvenience it has cause you. But rest assure that the problem is solved for a long time.They is a microwave available in the hotel kitchen and we provide iron and ironing board upon request. We are sorry you had a poor experience with us, we hope you come to us first with your requirement next time so that we can help.
Yes we do accept credit card, but here in Dominican Republic I can't stress it enough, business charge extra to pay with a credit card due to the crazy credit card fee charge on business. Only in Dominican Republic. Bring cash or be ready for 10% fee on room and 25% fee on food. And with these fee you only cover what the business in being charged. It can be that insane.
