AC that actually works very well. Amazing breakfast. Great room with very up to date amenities and extremely comfortable. I had to complain about one thing, which was the room service lady. She would knock on the door, and then open the door almost IMMEDIATELY, Without waiting for us to respond and say "hold on please!", Which I've never had happen at any hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. Truly she just barged in the door with almost NO delay between her knocking and opening the door. A serious invasion of privacy on her part. I complained about this to the front desk and made sure they knew how serious this was. Hopefully they retrain that room service lady and explain to her that she should NOT be opening the door to any room unless she first Knocks AND WAITS at least 30 seconds for a response. She didn't even wait 2 seconds. Literally she rushed in the room and just waltzed right in like it was her own room. Very rude and very much an INVASION of privacy. Other than that our stay was fantastic. I just really REALLY hope they gave that room service lady a stern talking to.

This is a lovely place and only a short walk from the waterfront (not on the waterfront as the listing says). Parking in a side street was easy and it appeared to be safe. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great.

We had a perfect stay in Tigullio. We walked from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to the town/shopping. Everything was close and we were able to walk to get espressos every morning. Perfect location and staff were so welcoming and helped us out with amenities (iron & ironing boards) as we had a wedding nearby. Would 100% recommend to friends and stay here again!

Great hotel, conveniently located if you plan to visit Cinque Terre! The train station is 2 minutes away from it, right next to a nice little cafe which sells delicious pastries.

Great stay.

Great hotel. We had a nice balcony. 2 min. walk to the beach. Good breakfast. Nice rooftop bar. The room was modern. Friendly staff. Santa Margherita Ligure is a beautiful little town and you can walk to Portofino (or take the bus, ferry). Quite a few pebble beaches on the way so bring your swimsuit.

Great choice for a short stay in SML. Ideally located for train station snd harbour. Attentive and helpful staff throughout my stay. Lovely reception, bar and breakfast area. Great buffet breakfast with large selection. Unfortunately I didn't get much sleep! The rooms are tightly packed together and the walls are very thin! You can hear every noise from adjacent tooms - conversations, toilets, movement, doors etc. So not good for a light sleeper.⁹

Good location and firm bed

Nice bright decor. Clean room, firm bed and firm pillows which I like. Hotel is 5 mins walk to ferry point and 3 mins to a really good Gelato Centrale. Construction outside hotel makes parking quite challenging but hotel staff parked our car for us at a private carpark.

The hotel was average with basic rooms and sadly the service wasn’t up to scratch. There were too many “no” to things we asked about. In particular the lady at reception can be quite rude and abrupt. On the plus side the staff at breakfast were super friendly.
