"Michelle is a great host. Her place is walking distance from the water taxi. We visited the nearby museum and had a lovely dinner nearby. The bed is listed as a queen but in fact is a nice big king and very comfy. "
"I came to Belize for the scenery(trees, flowers, nature, etc) and this property gave me beyond what I was looking for! So beautiful, so peaceful, so safe, just perfect! You can easily get ANYWHERE you want to go! The private cottage is a must have! When I wasn't out, I practically LIVED in that personal hammock! Lol! This is the only place I'll stay in Belize, can't wait to get back! Thanks for everything. "
"The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are nice, it has a nice gym area, and a pool area as well. The attached restaurant had really good food.
There is nothing to do around the hotel. We walked a couple miles in each direction and it's just construction and homes. Nothing to do. So it seems it is just a nice hotel if you plan to go to the islands the next day. "
"The property is so well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect if you’re in the city. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Julia, Sher, Mike & Barbie just to name a few, are very kind and super helpful. Will definitely visit again. We had and enjoyable and relaxing stay."
"Our stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice."
"Lovely hotel very close to the water taxi and within the area for tours to pick you up at the hotel. The staff is extremely nice and hospitable and the room was clean with shower amenities and a solid ac unit. There are two patios to sit on that overlook the river and there is coffee in the lobby in the morning. There are plenty of places to eat right near the hotel as well as a small grocery store across the street for water, etc…. I am a solo woman traveler and I felt very safe in this area...
"The staff was wonderful - lots of great recs for dining & things to do. We didn't explore much of Belize City, but we got great info for the time we were there.
Everyone says the city isn't safe - but honestly, be smart and don't do dumb things like flash cash, and you'll be fine :)"
"The hotel had very little to no amenities. They had filtered water in the community kitchen. The room had a refrigerator and cable tv. The bed was comfortable. It's in walking distance to the ferry for caye caulker and San Pedro. They had a community refrigerator and microwave in kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful. Limited places that offer delivery for food. "
"Our host Vinny is the standard of what host should be. She was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Also a great cook. The room was comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't. The pool is the spot to hang out here. Close to the airport and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was so good we're staying there again before we fly home."

"This hotel stay was amazing. The rooms are nice and clean and the views are out of this world. The staff was super nice and very accomodating with everything. They provided transportaion from the airport and the ferry. The pool was amazing, the food was amazing, the staff was amazing and on top of it all. Communcation was very easy. We loved the hotel and loved the calm and serenity around the cabins. Just great all around."
