Nikki was a wonderful host. The location is fantastic, right next to the Presidio. There were many good restaurants within a 15 minute walk. This is not a fancy hotel, and it could certainly use a few updates, but the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful.

My wife and I traveled to SF to celebrate Valentines day and found this super friendly sevice and convenient location next to The Presidio. Walkable neighborhood and safe location close to the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marina bay and the Palace of Fine Arts. Chestnut Rd offers fantastic food and activity. Quiet and nice neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Great location, very friendly staff, easy parking, dining available within walking distance. Older renovated motel, very clean, comfy beds, wifi and cable tv. Would stay here again.

Came to run my dog with Bay Area Urban Mushing at Chrissy Field/Presidio. Front desk is so warm and welcoming. Location is ideal and dogs are welcome. Comfy bed. Not fancy, just great. Will be back.

Overall the staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms are decent for it's ratings and the location is convenient. I recommend this for a great dog friendly hotel.

The staff at the check encounter were awesome with help navigating around the city with public transit and just any questions we asked. Property felt safe and it was comfortable. Just wish they had an elevator!

Das Hotel ist günstig, hat seine besten Zeiten aber hinter sich. Unser Zimmer war relativ groß, dafür das Bad aber sehr klein. Aufgrund des Alters war die Duschkabine ziemlich heruntergekommen und leicht verschimmelt. Alle Annehmlichkeiten sind vorhanden, leider war das freie W-Lan unzureichend gut und oft nicht vorhanden. Der Betten- und Zimmerservice findet nur nach Anfrage, ansonsten jeden dritten Tag statt. Parkplätze sind weniger vorhanden, als es Zimmer gibt, daher muss man Glück haben, wenn man auf der Straße parken möchte. Ein Auto benötigt man bei der Lage des Hotels schon, denn es ist doch zu weit entfernt von der Innenstadt. Dafür ist die Golden Gate Bridge fußläufig erreichbar. Unschön war die Menge an Müll, die für das kostenlose Frühstück produziert wird. Ein wenig störte uns, dass das Lobbypersonal uns bei der Ankunft und der Abreise deutlich darauf hingewiesen hat, dass wir das Zimmer über einen Drittanbieter (hotels.com) gebucht hätten und uns deutlich machen wollten, wir sollten besser direkt beim Hotel buchen.

Ok for few days
It has good location on quiet street. Free parking. Excellent service on front desk. The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals. The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price. Overall this is OK place for few days stay

The room was okay, could hear people above us walking heavy. The breakfast was okay but was surprised to see a bowl of hard-boiled eggs in a bowl that everyone was touching and eating. At a previous hotel the eggs were individually wrapped, a better idea, germ free.

This is a good and basic motel in a great location. Staff was wonderful — friendly and helpful. The property is basic, but well kept. We had two double queen rooms. One was tiny and one was of adequate size. The bathrooms are tiny. I only used the bathroom in one of the rooms, and the floor was dirty and the overall bathroom was a bit grungy. To be fair, I did not request that the floor be mopped, and just wiped the dirty edges with a towel. The rest of the room was basic, of average cleanliness, and serviceable. The beds were fine. The AC worked well.

For the category and price range, that the Travellodge is in, everything was a good fit: location is a great starting point for exploring San Francisco, parking is a plus, rooms were clean and reasonable, decent continental breakfast (breakfast room is very small, but we always managed to get a table after waiting a few minutes) - plastic silverware to throw-away is unfortunately common practice. Staff and service were always very friendly and helpful.

Staff were super helpful with recommendations on where to go around the area. It was safe and convenient with easy bus access. We also appreciated the continental breakfast and even though there were only a few tables you could take a tray to your room. Close to the Golden Gate Bridge!

We had amazing time! The location is great, thought parking might be tricky but it wasn't bad at all! walkable distance to Palace of fine art and other good restaurants, wonderful staffs. Only one thing, sound insulation is not good, but with this price in sf stay, I would stay here again!
