Great place to stay as it’s close to many great locations. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I do wish the mini fridge was not full of amenities to buy and instead be empty for you to put any water or perishables while on your trip.

Room was great but the restaurant there was not the best. Did not have a pleasant experience, waiter sat us down, but didn’t come back to check on us. A unique, charming, older hotel with a great tradition in San Diego. Built in 1913, the hotel has managed to maintain a simple elegance, not often found in newer hotels. Centrally located as well to the Gaslamp District. Loved it!
