Check-in was easy and quick. Daniel was very friendly and helped us immensely! The room was clean, smelled fresh, and didn’t have any chemical cleaner odours. The breakfast buffet was great and had a variety of selections. It was only a 20 min drive to Seaworld and there were lots of places to visit and eat nearby. La Jolla was also only about 10 mins away. Highly recommend!

This was my 2nd stay here and I will definitely stay here again next time. Very clean, lovely staff, my room had more than I even needed, and breakfast was great and much appreciated.....love the chia seed pudding! I don't know why charging a fee for parking is necessary, as there appears to be ample space for it. However, the nightly rate here is pretty reasonable compared to many hotels in the general area.

Overall, this hotel was nice. There were some things that needed improvement. Upon arrival at 3 PM, which was stated as check in time on my app, we were told that check in time was now 4 PM. I would have not been so annoyed by this had I not been holding a crying baby. We waited in the lobby until 4:15 PM for our room. The manager waived the parking fee for our wait, so that was nice. The room itself was nothing fancy, but clean. We got the two bedroom suite, which is perfect for my large family. The only complaint was that the bedroom doors had no lock. My main complaint with this hotel is the breakfast. The eggs were fake and cold. The coffee was literally undrinkable. It was like burnt mud! I would rather have free parking than the free breakfast. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I really appreciated that. I would stay again since it is one of the few hotels with a two bedroom suite.
