"Terrible greeting staff at check in. Felt like we were bothering by checking in for our exciting anniversary vacation. Once we checked out, I asked about the AAA discount of 20% that we were told, when we checked out and I was told since I used Hotels.com there were not able to honor any discounts now. I explained that Hotels.com did not take my credit card payment the BAY Club charged my card at check in so why couldn't they honor the AAA discount? The manager next to the reg desk just repeated the check-in clerk. I explained that this is a customer service issue and you a reprehensive of the Hotel.com and our "experience" and had I known you were not going to honor the discount like I was told at check in I would understand. The Bay Club manager and check-in staff reputably blamed Hotels.com for not being able to honor the discount. Terrible reflection of Bay Club and Hotels.com based on our experience. Considering expressing concerns on yelp and other platforms unfortunately."
