"Wonderful, quirky, fun stay in a great neighborhood! So much to do at the hotel that we need to come back and try some new things! One drawback: checkin and checkout are awful. The front desk doubles as a coffee bar, which is a cool idea, but without enough staff, you end up standing and waiting, holding all your luggage, while the front desk staff makes fancy coffees. Definitely not a good idea. But everything else about this place is awesome!"

"All-Inclusive to Mexico is better. This resort is a nice way to step away from the crowds of tourists at the parks and surrounding areas. However, public furniture is dirty and overused. Prices are typical for California….2x the prices at other tourist destinations in the western states. The pool is nice, but too small. Hot tubs are crowded with kids under 13. Too many young families here. If you have teens find a different place. The water level at the bay is also low and sandy beach is dirty."

"This is an older resort that has been kept up very nicely. You just can't beat the location! We booked a junior suite that overlooked the bay and it was lovely. The pool is beautiful and heated just enough to take the cold edge off but still be refreshing. But there were some money issues people should know about. First off, they hold $100 PER NIGHT. We stayed for 6 nights so we had a $600 hold on our credit card the whole week. That could certainly affect a family's vacation budget. Thankfully, I'm super type A and researched enough to know about it in advance. It would have been awful to be caught off guard. We also got a few charges without explanation. We were able to sort it all out but it took some doing on my end to get the info out of them. That includes a coffee shop purchase there that was only charged to my card weeks after checking out. So, I recommend staying here but plan for the ludicrous security hold, and keep an eye on mystery charges. "

"The property was beautiful- very well kept- felt tropical. Location was good- only 15 minutes from town. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pool area was clean (not lots of deck chairs) Felt a little dated- but excellent value and the rooms were very clean with fridge, microwave and stove burners. Definitely would recommend and would stay there again in the future."

"We booked a Bay View room and all we can see is a Palm Tree.... do not book room 209 unless you want to b just see a palm tree for extra money "
