We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Boutique Y Restaurante Panisté. The rooms are big, spacious and clean. The balcony overlooking the garden was nice and beautiful. We really enjoyed and loved using the spacious sauna.

Panisté was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. The rooms were great, with really nice views of the mountains and hills nearby. It felt like we were far away from everything. The restaurant was really tasty as well, and they were very accommodating of my food intolerances (dairy). I highly recommend the temascal - a steam room Guatemalan style, where a wood fire heats rocks that you then put water on to create steam in a brick dome. We also wandered around the grounds, seeing all the gardens and coffee plants. The pool was also great - a little heated given the cool day we were there. It almost felt like we were the only people staying there - we saw more staff than guests, so enjoyed some truly peaceful days during our stay.

This hotel cancelled the reservation without prior notice upon arrival, documented by Expedia. No apology whatsoever and no help in getting allocated somewhere else. Hope this helps fellow tourists upon arrival ar this hotel. Not a reliable hotel.

No screens on windows in cabins so be aware of mosquitos as they are everywhere and will keep you awake all night. Between the roof and ceiling you can hear noises like screeches/growls they may be rats or other animals. The property has beautiful gardens but unfortunately it seems administration did not check on rooms before they get reserved and did not acknowledge the situation. Administrator told us that they do not have screens on windows because people have different tolerances to mosquitos. No justification for this as this can detonate allergies or bring diseases. We did not received any compensation/discount or apology. We encourage administration to take into consideration this assessment as the hotel and place are beautiful. It just need commitment, understanding and empathy.

La peor experiencia. No dormimos nada debido a que a los dueños (según información del personal de turno) se les ocurrió celebrar algo con los niños de alguno de sus hijos. Eran un montón de niños haciendo bulla intensa hasta las 2 de la mañana. A pesar que estuvimos llamando a recepción, escribiendo por WhatsApp e incluso yendo al front desk como 3 veces , no logramos nada. Mientras los papás de todos los niños de fiesta en el restaurante y bar del hotel que supuestamente cerraba a las 9. Lamentable experiencia, no pudimos hacer nada para poder dormir decentemente en lo que se vende como un hotel boutique. Una pesadilla total. Intransigencia. Mi reserva era para 2 noches pero por lo comentado tuve que salir huyendo la mañana siguiente a la primera. Lo que se había planificado como un lindo viaje familiar, resultó ser una completa pesadilla. Me dijeron que me iban a hacer el rembolso completo pero tal como lo supuse , 15 días después, ahora dicen que debo ver con Expedía porque con ellos hice la reserva. Una estafa, si sabían que iban a tener una fiesta infantil, no debían tener disponible el hotel. Quiero aclarar que no es culpa de los niños, tampoco del personal que hasta miedo tenía de ir a hablarle a los dueños al bar. No recomiendo para nada el lugar, pueden tener una muy mala sorpresa.

Terrible experiencia Desagradable experiencia en @hotelpaniste en el que se supone es el mejor hotel de Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, cero control, fallas en el sistema de vigilancia y seguridad. Se robaron mis zapatos en las instalaciones del hotel (spa) si están considerando hospedarse, tomar en cuenta que no es un lugar seguro Terrible experiencia
