Great few days spent here! I recommend staying 2-3 nights... depending on when you arrive, because I highly recommend Semuc Champey and the bat caves (Grutas de Lanquin) which are hard to do in the same day. El Retiro made meals and excursions very worry-free. My only negatives would be the lack of hot water and the cleanliness of the bed, room. It wasn’t very dirty... just wasn’t very clean. Overall a very enjoyable few days spent in Lanquin.
Stayed 3 nights in Feb 2020
