"The room was clean but a little dated. There was a recess in the bathroom tiling for a bar of soap and i have not seen that feature for many years, so it does indicate to me that the hotel would benefit from a modernisation programme. There was a data point at the back of the TV but nowhere else in the room. The air con was fine but controlled by a thermostat, not a remote control so I did not have the control of it I would normally expect.
The room was good enough and there was a shaded 10m pool there and another one on the 8th floor of the adjacent hotel. It was ok and the staff were lovely and it was quiet, peaceful, but a bit bland and dated compared to many. Good to ok - and 7 out of 10."
