"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"Karey is a very personable host and if you are a dog lover she has 3 well mannered standard poodles; Wally, Tigre and Molly. If you like, Karey will call them into your room one at a time to meet you. The bed was comfortable, you have your choice of 3 breakfast items and ours was delicious. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, however , we plan to return to explore the surrounding beaches and walks."

"The property was over priced for what it is , I had called the hotel to ask about adjusting dates due to a family emergency and the front desk person stated she would contact the manager and get back to me but I never heard anything and no mention at check in either ……. The hotel is okay but I would expect better at the rate they charge , they did however give a water bottle at check in but I’d preferred they keep the gift and charge appropriately………"

"Honestly, after arriving and checking in, we understood why the hotel has a 6.6 rating, even though the photos looked quite decent. One of the biggest downsides for us as a family with children was staying on the third floor without an elevator — carrying things and going up and down the stairs all the time was not very convenient.
