Having read a few negative reviews we were a little worried about our stay at the Chateaux. The Chateaux is set in beautiful surroundings with a delightful walled garden in which to take a pre dinner stroll. We received a warm welcome and were shown to a lovely room on the ground floor. It was comfortably furnished with a king size bed, a well equipped ensuite with bath and shower. This is a fantastic place to stay prior to an early morning channel crossing. The hotel really is lovely, as are the reception staff. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable, and the hotel parking at the rear is very convenient. We chose not to eat/drink at the hotel and instead walked into the town. It's a fair walk to the centre, but it's worth it as there are plenty of lively bars and large selection of restaurants. We had a great final night before coming home to the UK.
