Le Temps des Cerises Hotel Beach

"Exceptional people, great location, with a caveat. We stayed at Le Temps des Cerises in early July hoping for a quiet beachfront break. Sandy was incredibly helpful before and during our stay, answering questions and arranging taxis, and Margo, Jamal, and Nickola made us feel genuinely welcome. The room was bright, comfortable, and clean with excellent Wi-Fi. The beachfront restaurant served delicious, reasonably priced meals, and the beach staff provided towels and lounge chairs. The beach and crystal clear water were beautiful and relaxing. The only drawback was a nearby beach club whose heavy bass carried into the room, especially Thursday through Sunday. Monday and Tuesday were quieter. Sandy kindly moved us, but the bass was still noticeable. If you enjoy a lively beach club atmosphere, you'll probably love the location. If you're looking for peace and quiet, bring earplugs. Despite that one issue, the exceptional staff, beautiful setting, and warmth of the people we met on Saint Martin made it a memorable stay."

"Beautiful time. Will definitely return. From Oliver at the front desk to the cleaning staff, the maintenance man, the bartenders and servers, everyone was absolutely amazing! We love the bartenders upstairs, I think her name was Catherine and Johanna. They were so funny and so sweet. I love this random little rivalry over what’s the best side of France. It’s really cute. Hopefully I saved some don julio for others!"
Pomme Cannelle Luxury Suites & Spa

"Paulina and Jeremy were the most gracious hosts. They were always available for any requests or questions we had and we had a lot. The rooms were cozy and beautiful designed. Orient Bay Beach and Village was an 8 minute walk. There are many restaurants to choose from. Kontiki Beach Bar offered free beach chairs for hotel guests of Pomme de Cannelle. My only suggestion would be more space for clothes and toiletries. But overall an excellent experience, felt like I was staying at a friends guest house."

"This is our second time in Saint Martin and also at Aura! That’s how much we love it. My family and I call it our home away from home. Everything is breathtakingly beautiful there from the location itself, nestled in the mountains and near the beach, to the littlest details in the villa. Our host, Yann is simply the best! He always makes sure we have everything we need. We highly recommend this beautiful gem on SXM."

Le Domaine Anse Marcel Beach Resort

"The resort was beautiful and we loved the secluded area. We were able to get a chair each day by either reserving or walking down early. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would totally return to St Martin - stay on the French side again - and return to this resort! We were close to anything we needed outside of the resort and the drive over the mountain wasn’t too bad!"

"Very nice hotel. Short walk to beautiful beach. Only negative was the breakfast lacked variety everyday. It was the same breakfast day in and day out. Overall, very nice hotel and staff. Thank you!"

"While this was a beautiful hotel with infinite pool, the French customer service is bad. House keeping keeps your room cleaned everyday. This hotel only have one restaurant so you can only eat twice breakfast with is buffet and then dinner. If you're a person who likes to stay at the hotel during vacation I recommend you find a hotel that offers more food options. However, there is food nearby you'll need a taxi. Overall, I enjoyed my stay outside of the restaurant."
Orient Beach Hotel

"Great Location and Comfortable Rooms, but Operations Could Be Tighter Overall, I had a good stay at Orient Beach Hotel and would rate it 4 out of 5. The rooms are spacious, modern, well-appointed, and easy to navigate. I stayed in a ground-floor unit and really enjoyed the patio, oceanfront view, and breeze. The location is excellent. Orient Village is only a few minutes away on foot, and there are many great restaurants along the beach. Breakfast at KKO was also good, with pastries, cold cuts, fruit, and yogurt though I would note birds were often picking at the bread without many attempts from staff to stop them. Ultimately the main issue was inconsistent service and follow-up. We booked two rooms, and one had weak air conditioning at check-in. There was confusion about whether it would be repaired or whether we would be moved, and I had to follow up myself for an answer. A shower feature in another room took about two days to fix, and staff did not provide updates because the room phone was not working (my phone issue could have also been proactively fixed but never was). There were also a couple of occasions when supposedly clean beach towels were visibly dirty. None of these issues ruined the stay, and the staff was helpful when prodded, but the hotel needs clearer procedures, stronger quality control, and more proactive communication. That said and overall, the location, rooms, and views made it an enjoyable experience."
