"Check in was good. We had a generous sized room looking out onto the bay with a balcony but it came at a hefty price. The carpet was stained and the bathroom floor dirty in the corners. Items were replaced haphazzardly. No mugs in the room despite a kettle and we had to ask for these. Breakfast was adequate but slightly mean spirited, evidenced by tiny juice glasses and bowls for other items. Bar service was friendly and welcoming with, surprisingly, generous portions for the bar food."

"The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location. It's within walking distance of the Old Town, shops, restaurants, and many of Nice's main attractions. The hotel was clean, and the rooms had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. However, the service could have been better. For example, it would have been a nice touch to offer guests water upon arrival. There was an empty glass jug in my room, but no one explained its purpose, and there were no bottled waters provided. "I came off a late train to find this place last minute. You can feel the days stresses begin to disintegrate with each step down the garden path. Every piece of the decorum in the lobby is intentional and inspires peace and tranquility. The rooms are quaint and everything has its place. The rainfall shower is abundant and the water is hot. "Great location for Train/Buss connections and a short walk to the main shopping street and the Promenade. Rooms were basic but clean, the beds were very comfortable and the outdoor pool was in a nice Oasis garden setting. A great place to cool off after a day of walking/sightseeing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly a big shout out to Monty who went the extra mile for us on a few occasions."

"The hotel features a pleasant interior design, is centrally located, and is very clean. However, it is quite noisy. Both street noise and sounds from the hallways are clearly audible in the rooms and there is a sort of loud ventilation as well, apart of the air conditioners. The beds are also rather narrow. Overall, the hotel does not live up to the standards one would expect from a four-star property."
