I am travelling continously due to my work and come here hoping to sleep well and to relax. Now, i could not resist but to stay yet another night as a private weekend stay, as i slept so well. This is absolutely a perfect choice for anyone wanting a very quiet location but still in few minutes walking distance from the Saabrücken altstadt pedestrian. (800m to Sankt Johann when using the nearest path & pedestrian bridge.) I liked swimming pool and the wellness area where to relax and i felt lucky to be there as the only person. Yes, certain areas looks like waiting for an upgrade as this a 4-star hotel. But everything fine. when it comes to my room i found it very nice: really clean in every way, comfy bed, a nice green window view, with a view partially to river Saar (Hotel located on a hillside street, my room in 5. floor towards east-south). Price quality very good. Btw. As i stayed two nights i got the Saarland Card for free, which gives free access to museums, busses etc.

I want to stress that this hotel is not for everybody due to its location a little further from the train station and central areas. I turned 61 this year and am in good health and decent shape. So I had no problem walking 20-25 minutes from the train station to the hotel including a long flight of stairs uphill about a block away from the hotel (with one small rolling carry-on). I love the location, the exterior and interior decor of the hotel and my room. The advantage of the location is that it was in quiet neighborhood, there are several museums and adjacent restaurants about 2-3 blocks away via those same stairs. All of the staff were awesome and the hotel's restaurant was a full service one, unlike some others during the reopening phase of the Pandemic climate. I didn't have every meal there but I did have breakfast and dinner there and both were excellent.

wir waren sehr zufrieden in diesem Hotel Preis - Leistung stimmt ist ein sehr gute Wahl Ganz hervorragend war die Freundlichkeit der Dame am Empfang...aber auch das im Restaurant waren wir sehr nett betreut worden.
