We loved the hot springs tubs and pool, and appreciated the laundry facilities. Overall the facilities are worn and dated and the men’s bathroom was dirty. For the price this was still a good value—our room was clean and dry and had a small kitchenette, but would’ve appreciated cleaner facilities.

We've been going to Cosy Cottage for years, both camping and in the cabins. It's clean, it's peaceful, we love waking up and enjoying the hot pools, and the proximity to everything in town. A must stay when in town.

Amazing area with lots of hot springs and Māori culture. Convenient for the city centre and the room we had cooking facilities but there is a shared toilet. Toilet facilities were fine and the campsite felt safe. Would stay here again.

Clean and great location.

Great location just behind the lake. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Front desk was very helpful. You are in Rotoura so please take advantage of the outdoor steam oven! You can get a Dutch oven from the front desk to cook with. Definitely will be staying here on our next trip.

Couldn’t figure out how to work the heater and was quite cold during the night. Appreciated the fact that we had our own allocated park , and our cabin was close to the toilets / showers which was convenient. Spa was lovely and nice size room .
