"We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. The restaurant chef whipped up delicious local favorites, made to order, and the piña coladas were nice and cold! The hotel was still in the process of renovating during our stay, so I expect that...

"They have lots of problems with the water supply. We didn’t have water to use for at least half the time we were there. Frustrating. Also there is not hot water."

"I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good."
