I had a great stay at Le terrazze. Every night after a busy walking day I came back to a clean room and a stocked kitchen with pastries and coffee. They were also kind enough to accommodate my dietary restrictions providing me with Gluten Free alternatives. Finally every time I had a question they answered me promptly. Thank you so much!!

Lovely accomodation

Lovely BnB The room was comfortable and temperate and was cleaned by staff daily and they would refill a most delicious cake box. Easy access around the city from the property 10minute walk to the colosseum and 2 minute walk to the subway and the shops.

A great place to stay in Rome, a short walk from the Colosseum, and other transport options (bus, underground, tram) nearby. The room was comfortable with everything we needed. Daily breakfast on the terrace was great. Lovely restaurants nearby too. Would thoroughly recommend and we hope to return.

Comfortable room in a great location! Staff were communicative and helpful with our questions. Short walk to transit and lots of great restaurants in the area. Powerful A/C was welcome in the hot weather and loved relaxing on the terrace. The luggage storage was very helpful too! Would happily stay again.

Wonderful place!

What a wonderful place! The staff are incredible, the location is 10/10, and we have everything that we need at the property, even a fully equipped kitchen. They also have a patio that you can have your meals there and a tiny library inside of a fridge. Another great point is that they add notes all around the house with useful information. I can not wait to return to Rome and I will definitely stay at the same place.

Such a friendly place! We stayed 2 nights with our 13yo daughter. It’s like both staying in very small hotel and at friend’s place. The owner is very welcoming. You can catch metro and buses to go anywhere in Rome a few blocks away. It’s on the outskirt of the city center but still well located.

A place for family to feel Rome warmness.

I stayed with my family (4 people), every one loves the place. we had very good experience, felt as if we were visiting a family. The owner and his daughter are very friendly. They were always helpful. Also the owner provided us with a storage to our 2 big bags when we travelled to florence. The Terrace is nice place to realx and eat. For sure I will try to book again when I visit the great Rome.

The staff at Le terrazze di San Giovanni were excellent, they provided great recommendations, made self check-in easy, and were overall very friendly and helpful on our trip. The neighbourhood is quieter than the areas of Rome we visited which was a nice relief. The restaurants in the area were great and felt authentic. We stayed in the rooms for 4 people and found them to be a decent amount of space for us. The Air conditioning worked well. The property is a bit older and the bathrooms are small, but don’t let that stop you from picking this place for a quiet place to rest. The terrace was nice for peaceful breakfasts and drinks at the end of the evening.

A lovely cozy place to stay with family. 15 mins to the Colosseum and 18 mins to Termini station. Room was spacious for 3 and very clean. Although it could have some cups and kettle for early morning coffee/tea. There was a small kitchen with basic breakfast like cereals and a coffee machine. Room was cleaned every day and staff was nice. Check in check out was hassle free. In terms of dinning options, you could eat near Colosseum or there is a Pizzeria right next door serving delicious pastas and Pizza. You can keep your luggage and collect it later in the day. Overall a good experience.

One of the rooms had a shower that smelled badly. Not a whole lot of parking out front. Rooms were clean and simple. Nice community kitchen, air conditioner blew cold but turned off during the night. No elevator, only stairs. Owners were very nice and accommodating. They were able to arrange transportation to the airport very early in the morning. Had a nice terrace with seating.

We have stayed at Le Terrazze di san Giovanni three nights. The arrival was not complicated at all. Its located on a bank at a corner with a big Terrace, the big steal Door opens when u first ring the bell and the operator opens the door with telling you the code for the keys. After taking the stairs, you find the Guest house at the only first floor in the rear. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There is a kitchen which you can use and have coffee. We fell in love with the big Terrazze. At the evenings we sat outside and enjoyed wine. Romano the owner was very outstanding. He was always there to answer all our questions and gave us good advice what to do in the city. He was also very nice to the cleaning lady, which is important to us. We have felt in very good hands. We are surely coming back to stay here again.
