It is a nice place and the room is very large. There a big backyard. It is nice for kids to walk around. The breakfast is great. The stuff is very nice. And getting a Uber to the airport is great.

The home is beautiful.The rooms are well equipped and decorated well.The beds are comfy.The shops and restaurants near by are great.There are 2 grocery stores near by.The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.I would highly recommend this property.The only negative is the roads in the area are not maintained well.Parking is safe and secure behind locked gates.We felt at home and safe here.The hosts were wonderful.

We just had a quick stay on our way to the airport but the home and hosts are lovely. Far from the hustle of Rome’s city center, the guest house provided a comfortable stay in a neighborhood of local residents.

Very spacious and comfortable both in our suite and in the lounging areas. There were many options for breakfast and it was excellent. Raffaela also made some great restaurant suggestions.

More than just bed and breakfast
It was an overnight stay as part of a larger Tuscany vacation. We arrived at night and Google took us to some questionable streets. Luckily we were greeted with beautiful mansion and warm host. The next day we were equally surprised by the beauty of the property when we had an amazing breakfast out on the garden by the pool. The personal touch made it feel like being invited to stay at a home instead of a bed and breakfast. Will definitely return if I am visiting Rome for longer than overnight,

Beautiful property owned and tended by lovely family. Our suite was terrific- comfy bed, nice bathroom and small adjacent sitting room with couch and desk. Balcony overlooking back yard with attractive patio, beautiful plantings and swimming pool. Free parking. Gated secure home in lovely community.

We loved staying in this gorgeous home. It was peaceful, quiet, exquisitely decorated with an awesome collection of art and furniture pieces. The breakfast is a feast for royalty with gracious service. We ended up staying for an additional night. Convenient to the airport for a stay abutting travel, but also a fantastic place to explore Ostia and the exterior of Roma. 10 out of 10

The house and property are absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting outside in the wonderful garden and on the balcony terrace. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed.We enjoyed a nice evening walk to a nearby Italian restaurant. The breakfast was excellent and it was served to our table outside in the garden. If you can’t walk upstairs this isn’t the place for you, but if stairs aren’t a problem it’s perfect and we highly recommended!

Gorgeous property with gracious hosts--near FCO
We just stayed one night before an early flight out of FCO. The property and owners were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The suite was large, clean, and beautiful. Small refrigeratory, tub/shower, sitting area, and separate bedroom. The grounds were beautiful as well. Very nice balcony for watching the sunset. Pool looked lovely, but was, unfortunately, was closed for our stay.

This was a perfect place to get over jet lag from US flight. Ostia Antica a great place to walk with no crowds. The guest house was ideal.

very nice people that own the house along with their staff.. couldn’t say anything bad about them… i do have some complaints though. first of all there are 3 flights of stairs that progressively get more narrow so if you’re handicap and or have very heavy suitcases don’t bother with this one. second of all there was absolutely no shower only a bathtub with a extendable shower head on it, we had to sit down to shower. next we booked 2 beds and when we walked in there was only one bed, when we asked if we could have an extra blanket and pillow the guy asked us if we were going to grab dinner after we had just got off a 12 hour flight and we’re extremely tired… we were very confused but the very nice staff put the bed together when we got home after the next day. The next thing is that the mosquitoes are very bad i don’t think it has something to do with this house in particular but italy in general nevertheless we got very bit up and had to make sure we were sprayed down at all times with mosquito spray. other than that are stay was good.

Magnifica esperienza
Una splendida villa, con un magnifico parco con piscina. Camere suite confortevoli, moderne, pulite. Un servizio personalizzato e cortese e una buonissima colazione servita a tavola con ampia scelta di piatti salati e dolci, con prodotti di qualità freschi e cucinati molto bene. A pochi chilometri da Roma e da Ostia antica, ma anche dalla bellissima spiaggia di Capocotta. Torneremo!

La Gaura Guest House is a beautiful and spacious property. It's quiet and unique, with a kind, welcoming staff. We really enjoyed the pool, which is located in such a beautiful garden. The homemade breakfast was delicious. This was a perfect place to rest and relax after our very busy time in Rome. I would love to return!

I truly felt like this is how the other half live! When our taxi driver dropped us off, he said that the neighborhood was the Beverly Hills of Rome! The house was beautiful and very well kept. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast in the garden was absolutely perfect! All of the amenities that you expect in a good hotel, with much more privacy. There is a shopping plaza and restaurants within walking distance, but it’s not handy to the train or downtown. Ideal if you have a car, or don’t mind taxis. I hope that I will get to stay there again!
