The staff were wonderful & helpful . The restaurant catered for all tastes. The hotel is few minutes walk from the Ganges - the quieter part of Ganges.

I was very surprised at how good this hotel is. With only 3.5 stars I thought it would be an average stay but it was amazing. They have a sister hotel which you can use for eating and entertainment. The private Ganga Access was amazing and the staff provided excellent service in the hotel and restaurant. I have been staying 5 star accommodation throughout my travels in India and this was just as good as those.

Excellent stay. Room was clean and spacious. The receptionist Kanchan made our stay excellent. We had a number of places we wanted to visit and she sat with us and did all the arrangements making our trip wonderful. She was so accomodating to all our needs. We were safe at all times and very comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Overall, my stay was decent with good service. However, there were a few drawbacks. The facilities I booked for Aarti, Yoga, and Ganga Darshan are located 200 meters away at the main hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. The restaurant offers temple-style cuisine that might not suit those with a preference for modern flavors, and since outside food is not permitted, you have to travel daily for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was satisfactory, although the menu became repetitive over several days.

A highlight of Rishikesh

Second stay at this property. Returned because this hotel is one of a kind. Host Kanchan treats guests like family, like royalty. The accommodations are quite comfortable and well appointed. Restaurant is top notch. Spa at sister property Ganga Kinare was a highlight of my visit to Rishikesh. Rahul is a master at his art. Looking forward to returning many more times to come.

The hotel has nice accomodation. It's clean. Morning breakfast is also good. However this hotel is not good for tourists with self drive cars. The main locations like ram jhula etc are quite congested and you need to take public transport. Not very convenient.

Holy Water rocks!

We enjoyed this hotel the most on our entire 5 week trip to India. From the time we arrived we felt welcome. We loved the spiritual atmosphere very much. The restaurant staff were just as great. As westerners, we just can’t handle the spiciness of Indian cuisine, and the staff was very accommodating. They remembered to make sure we had food at every meal that was delicious. We enjoyed the Aarti at the main hotel as well, but liked the atmosphere of Holy Water better. We can’t say enough good things about the hotel.

Amazing experience

The Varr restaurant with temple food was beautifully laid out, the food was amazing. Rooms are very nice. Staff also very friendly. The area is not the best but it has the benefit of being the sister to Hotel Ganga Kinare, with access to a private Ghaat plus other amenities (spa, restaurant, bicycles, etc) and access to the walkway along the Ganga.

Staff attentive once we got there . However, was little concerned about the hotel sending emails repeatedly to pay before we got there and send the id on line . I was not looking for any additional stress from the hotel and threat of cancellation if I didn’t respond. Thank you
