The staff were all excellent reception. The Gym facilities were great. The Alicantra storm was very good and the stuff were absolutely brilliant apart from the room which I think that should’ve been cleaned every day which they didn’t bother to do so insufficient on water supply but overall I’m still rated five star

great location for getting in and out of the old town. lovely bar area, with a great sports bar if you didn’t want to take in the nightlife Riga had to offer. Spa was very basic, we had spa access booked in with our stay, and they tried to charge us extra when we checked in…. when shown confirmation the guy checking us in kind of grunted then gave us a pass- we had friends checking into a suite next to us who were treated like kings and queens whilst we had a standard room and were their paupers!! the breakfast was terrible… absolute waste of money for €20 each! we asked for breakfast tea and again were just grunted at by the waiting staff!! hotel was clean , bedrooms plenty of space and all the facilities we needed for 4 nights. Hairdryer was amazing!!! overall we had a good stay

Nice hotel overall. It is in an older building but the view across the river are nice and it was good value considering we had access to the spa/pool. Overall I would recommend this as it was a much more attractive price when compared to the city but I wouldn't recommend it if it is the same price as the old town area.
