amazing views from the rooms, very attentive service, good food. sea is quite wavy and not super attractive - not sure if it is like that whole year round but something to consider. there are not many options to eat around and vegetarian meals are really limited in both restaurants of the hotel

Overall, we had a lovely stay. The setting is beautiful and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food at the main restaurant was very good and the breakfast is terrific. The views from our two terrace rooms were spectacular and sleeping with the doors wide open to the sounds of the ocean was absolutely perfect. The rooms are spartan and modest but the beds were very comfy and the storage was ample for the small room size. The resort definitely attracts families so there were many babies and young children. In our opinion, the furnishings seemed a bit tired and basic for its price point and is due for updates/enhancements. Also, it is probably a good policy to toss in a couple of complimentary bottles of water to each room consistent with many other resorts as opposed to the singular 6 euro bottle in the minibar. It’s a winding trek to St Tropez which can be intimidating at night. We sadly only ventured in once. The old port and Place des Lices market were great fun as were the beach clubs in Pampelonne, however, the traffic and crowds were unreal and the roads tricky. We later recalibrated our restaurant selections and dined at night at restaurants within 20 mins of the resort.

Our stay at Le Bailli de Suffren exceeded our expectations. The location and amazing views were spectacular. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way on several occasions to offer recommendations and assistance for local sights. We had excellent meals at both the main restaurant and beach restaurant. The daily buffet breakfast was fresh, abundant and delicious. We discovered the beautiful walking path just outside the hotel that became our morning routine. We couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous beach with its smooth sand and crystal clear warm water. We really hope to return one day soon!

Disappointing stay, rude service, book elsewhere

We were looking forward to visit this property but our expectations felt short. Our stay was very disappointing, totally not worth the price. Note that the day prior, we stayed at Hotel La Calanque which was better located and almost half the price. View was breathtaking, staff was way nicer and food was very good. Therefore, paying more than double for this hotel is simply unacceptable. Key items: -Service is terrible, definitively not up to the expectations for this kind of hotel. Staff at the Loup de Mer was extremely rude. For a 2 night stay, I’ve seen multiple customers angry at the staff because of multiple reasons, including very poor service. -Food at Le Loup de Mer was terrible, especially given the price. We ate there 2 nights because we were tired and didn’t feel like leaving the hotel, and we definitively regretted it. Food at the Loup de Mer is the worst we had in France during our 2 weeks stay! -Other disappointing items: view from the room was not like the pictures (we paid to have a sea view but there was a big tree hiding the sea) and hair dryer was bad. -When we left, we told the receptionist we were quite disappointed by our stay. She called a manager, who was super rude. He didn’t even offered an apology (which would have been the least). They offered to take out 39 euros out of a +$1,500 euros stay for 2 nights. It was a total joke and shows that this hotel doesn’t care about customers experience. -Pool amenities are nice, but not worth it.

Very peaceful and tranquil. The area severely lacks in restaurants. Also, for some reason, the hotel governs the air conditioning at night. For those of us that like it cold, thats miserable. Good hotel. Nice service. Food was average at best and overpriced. Sleeping was miserable because of air conditioning issues.

Fantastiskt Le Bailly de Suffren

Ett vackert och classy hotel i ett fantastiskt område Rayol Canadel med fantastisk natur och strand. Vi har stannat på hotellet i tre nätter i ett frontview rum med terrass. Utsikten och känslan av den är svårslagen. Rummet är inrett i Provence country style, stort och fräscht. Uteområde, restauranger och poolen är vackra och genomtänkta i varje detalj. Lux och glamour känslor i allt. Genuin femstjärnig oldfashioned service i barer och restauranger. Vi åt middag alla tre kvällar på hotellet. Första kvällen på strandrestaurangen och andra kvällar på huvudrestaurangen som befinner sig på hotellets terrass och erbjuder gourmeträtter till middag. Beachrestaurangen belägen på en vacker strand med outstanding sea/sunset view. Atmosfären är avslappnad och personalen är serviceinriktad. Maten var okey, krävs mer kärlek till vall av råvaror så som fräschare sallad och val av potatisen till pommes, som bestod till hälften av oätliga mini restbitar. Huvudrestaurangen har lämnat en fin känsla av femstjärnig service och vackra, väl sammansatta och smakrika rätter med gott vin. Rekommenderas varmt att besöka. Jag firade min födelsedag på hotellet och vill speciellt säga stort tack till personalen som har gjort min dag och hjälpt min pojkvän med alla förberedelser, blommor, mm.

Séjour très agréable, le personnel est très aimable, l’emplacement de l’hôtel est excellent. Les chambres sont propres. Juste un petit hic: les gens restant dans la chambre au dessus de la nôtre mettaient leurs cendres de cigarette sur notre terrasse et la terrasse n’était pas balayée.
