"The owner, Jordi, and his staff went out of their way to help me. He gave me a ride from the train station to his nearby restaurant, where I had a fantastic dinner. Then he dropped me off at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The front desk attendant was kind enough to drive me to the bus stop for my journey to Barcelona. I was most grateful to be spared a long walk. Muchisimas gracias a todos!"

"The views are worth it! The room is clean and the AC is ice cold. The walkability to Cardona / Town Square (Fira) (food/drinks) is nice, no reason to drive if you are able to walk 10-15 minutes each way. Breakfast was good, the coffee was great! Its July, so there were families that we loud on our floor. It was annoying, but not a problem. I would ask for a room facing the landscape. "Everything was exceptionally great for the price, great access to city and local area. Staff and locals were helpful and polite. Only note is kitchen/breakfast is closed on Saturday’s or weekends depending on booking capacity. Overall great place for budget friendly get away highly recommended."

"Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s.
