We lived everything about our stay, the room was lovely and the little balcony was perfect to enjoy the view. We had a wonderful dinner in the Deck restaurant and would highly recommend staying at this property, we hope to return

Everything is lovely about this hotel in a great location. The only downside is the breakfast which has 4 hot option that change every day, my daughter is a picky eater and one of these day she didn't like what was on offer. Other than that we can't fault the hotel and the lovely staff.

Run by a very friendly, welcoming and engaging couple. Comfy bed, clean room and a good breakfast. An extremely well-run establishment which would be our first choice in the future.

This motel was really clean and cosy. Two super cosy beds to sleep in and a spotless bathroom. The amenities the room had were perfectly adequate for us for our 1 night stay. It was easy to find and we would recommend it others.

The location couldn't have been better for exploring the surrounding area. The staff went outbof their way to be helpful. As this was our first time in the area it was very necessary. Room was large, well equipped and clean plus theres ample car parking.

The Salt Shaker is more a restaurant with four rooms than a hotel. We originally booked for one night but then asked for two. We had to change rooms for the second night but the Salt Shaker team sorted that for us. Both rooms were lovely, bright and clean decor. And the beds were so comfy. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Tasty fish stew and lovely lobster rolls. It was very busy but no one appeared to be stressed. If they were then they didn't let it show! We absolutely loved our stay here.
Margaret upgraded us to a self contained apartment and it was so quirky and fun. The apartment was so comfortable and Margaret couldn’t do enough for us.
Breakfast was delicious in the main house and we enjoyed chatting to Margaret whilst eating.
The house itself was absolutely stunning.
We would most definately come back and stay with Margaret again.

Small, historic B&B in a good location. Phenomenal breakfast, hot choices are freshly cooked, lots of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, jams etc. Richard and Thomas are friendly, helpful hosts.
The queen room does have a tiny bathroom with a step up to enter, but works fine. It also has a small roof light with no curtain/blind so if light disturbs you, you may want an eyemask
