The breakfast was wonderful and everything was very fresh. The rooms were clean, but to keep the airplane noise down, it is necessary to keep the windows closed--which leads to a warm room as the night progresses. The pillows they provide are rock hard and, hopefully, they listened to our recommendation and have changed them to ones that are more comfortable. They offer water from a 5-gallon bottle from which you can fill up a large glass jug they provided in the rooms. The grounds are enormous and well-maintained. Llamas wonder around mowing the lawn.

Not so good: shuttle that was confirmed never arrived at the airport, temperature was 50-60 degrees and there is no heat in the rooms, no ATM, only four TV channels in English and no staff knew which ones they are, was told we would be reimbursed for the taxi to the hotel but that didn’t happen.

Great room, clean , very good breakfast , great helpful staff, just one caveat .. it is far from downtown , but close to the airport , will take you 1.5 hours to get to downtown by car at a cost of about $25/30 range. Lovely Property!

Lovely grounds! Great place for a stay in Quito. Very nice staff who gave us a ride to the airport. The property is peaceful (except when the neighbors were blaring their music outdoors--although the hotel is obviously well-insulated, because we could not hear it in the rooms.) We were passing through, but I wish we could have had time to just enjoy the outdoors.

The hotel grounds are gorgeous. Mountain views with beautiful plants and roaming llamas and peacocks. Breakfast was delicious and the playground fun for kids. The only down side are the beds were very uncomfortable in our room. If you like an extra firm mattress this is the place for you

There were many activities available for our family. Swimming pools, volleyball, tennis, billiards, games, etc. There were llamas roaming around the property which was really cool. It was quiet and the food in the restaurant was very good.

Quiet and peaceful place. Beautiful rooms, pretty clean and with excellent service. The place have a lot of green spaces even exotic animals. Nice place to stay in. Definitely I will come back.

Just a wonderful glamorous old mansion run professionally with no short cut, breakfast was great and shuttle on time, loved it I’ll stay again on my way back from Galapagos.
