Smiles from start to finish

I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Casa Foch. From the moment you walk in the door, through every encounter, right up until you depart, you are welcomed with warm greetings and attention to any need you may have. Sure, the noise from next door can be a bit of a nuisance, but certainly not an insurmountable one (especially with earplugs). The rooms are sunny and fairly spacious, the breakfast plentiful and fresh, and the general atmosphere inviting and congenial. I would absolutely return to Casa Foch if I find myself in Quito ever again.

Very comfortable, great breakfasts, outstanding staff. If you book on a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to listen to loud kareoke all night ftom surrounding clubs. Good location, though, to walk to Plaza Foch with all the restaurants and bars there.

Loved it!

The staff was friendly, helpful and eager for me and a friend to enjoy our brief stay. They called taxis, advised where to go and when to go, and were just delightful to talk to. The area (Plaza Foch) was loud at night but don't let that deter you from staying there. We were there on a weekend which just happened to be their Labor Day.

Super fint hotel med god service ! Personalet taler utrolig godt engelsk sammenlignet med andre steder og morgenmaden er god! Eneste minus er, at fredag og lørdag aften er det en utrolig larmende gade , så disse dage er det svært at sove før 12-1 om natten .

Beautiful hotel in a noisy area

I feel badly for Hotel Casa Foch. The staff, facilities, decor, and cleanliness are wonderful. The breakfast menu is extensive and freshly cooked. However, the hotel is located in an area that caters to very young party goers. The two kareoke bars next door start at 2pm and go until 2AM full blast. We won’t go back because of the noise, but I’m so sorry because it was such a wonderful place.

This is a great little hotel in the "Zone Viva." If peace and tranquility are your thing, maybe not for you. We enjoyed the vast number of restaurants, bars & other sights within 2 or 3 blocks.

Beautiful, safe location.

My boyfriend, my sister and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days and absolutely fell in love! Our hotel was a queen special room. It contained a queen bed and twin bed, full bathroom and TV. Along with the room we had an attached balcony with a covered sitting area. This was magnificent. Every morning, we woke up to a beautiful view. The staff was incredibly hospitable. They served continental breakfast every morning in which you eat in the lobby and they cook and serve breakfast for you. The staff made you feel like a member of the family. As they said, "Mi casa es su casa." If we ever find our way back to Ecuador, which I think we will, we will be staying in this wonderful place again!

Buena Ubicación, Excelente Desayuno, Amabilidad.

Cuando llegué al hotel me informaron que el hotel había sido requerido para grabar una película y que habían bloqueado las reservas de huéspedes, pero Expedia a mi me permitió hacer mi reserva, al parecer el problema era entre el Hotel y Expedia pero el perjudicado fui yo, me enviaron a una habitación en el tercer piso, demasiado frío, un televisor diminuto antiguo, parecía de colección, jamás lo encendí, del inodoro filtraba el agua por todo el baño, etc. Al salir en la mañana personal que grababa la película me exigió colocarme en un rincón y poner en silencio mi celular ya que estaban filmando, me tocó esperar hasta que aparezca la recepcionista para que me ayude a salir, así fueron los 2 días, y el día que ya me iba al aeropuerto fue lo mismo, con el taxista afuera esperándome y yo solo pase a retirar mi equipaje, tuve que esperar en un rincón un buen rato al lado de la escalera hasta que puedan dejar de filmar. Debo resaltar la buena actitud y predisposición de la recepcionista en todo momento.

Great service with central location

Great service and good breakfast. Old colonial style house has its quirks but adds character. Right across the street from a club that has loud music and people yelling on Thursday Friday and Saturday nights until 3-4am. Right off Avienda Amazonas which is closed Sunday for traffic to allow bicycle and walkers to only use the road.

Nice place to stay, hotel rooms are a bit out dated and need some renovations, but overall the hotel was in a central location, staff were excellent, and went out of their way to please you. Please be aware, as other reviewers note, location is right in the middle of a bevy of bars and restaurants catering to tourists and young people. At night and on the weekends until 4am, the noise from the bars can be heard within the hotel. However, the location is central, you can walk to several museums and attractions and there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance, as well as taxis and public transportation. Overall, a nice, small hotel.

Bad experience due to expedia

The hotel is nice, comfortable and in a good location. Administrator was nice and helpful. My BIG complain is that I reserved a room that on expedia said "deluxe king bed with Hot Tub" that's why it was a higher price then a simple room, when I got to the hotel the person at front desk almost didn't let me in because he said he didn't have any rooms so I told him to please check because I indeed had a reservation but he seemed convinced that that wasn't possible. After he checked he saw my reservation but the room that I paid for was occupied and that was the only room with hot tub. So he showed me another room with a king bed but no hot tub, I expressed that the room was fine but if there was any type of refund or discount due to the fact that I paid more for a room with a hot tub but they just said NO. That that was a mistake from expedia which made me unhappy because as a client that's not my fault nor responsibility. They'd have to fix that inconvenient with expedia. That's the only thing thathat made my stay a bit unhappy. Overall the hotel is nice and everything else was good.
