An old village hotel in a pleasant setting just off main thoroughfare. We were well received and made very comfortable. The only issue that was of concern is that we were quite tired after a day's driving and the excellent evening meal had to be taken at leisure. We waited almost an hour before we got our first course in a small beautiful dining room which have every appearance of being adequately staffed. Hotels app messed up my booking as we wanted a twin and got a double , good job we’re close friends. it wasn’t the owners fault and she was lovely , very friendly , made us a lovely meal and smiled a lot while being busy , we we’re just passing but a great find , we’ll be back

We stayed in summer. The hotel was clean and high level of recent maintenance so everything felt new. Really handy for a walk into town for the cable car and Monty express.
