A really nice relaxing place with a personal check-in. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. There is a very useful communal kitchen shared between the 3 rooms to help yourself to cheese, fruit, bread, tea and coffee. There is a bar that serves food one minute away. Overall highly recommended

The most amazing parador a 16 th century convent converted beautifully.
Breakfast was tasteful and evening meal sublime .
A lovely outdoor pool with sunbeds and deckchairs to relax
Hotel parking accessed by car lift but secure, charge 18 euros day .
Beautiful courtyard to admire the building and sip a drink . Right in the old town walkable to the river and plaza . Not much was open in the town in the evening so book the restaurant in the hotel .

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Plasencia is abit of a dump but this hotel is a wonderful oasis. We stayed with our dogs. They had a big bed and bowls and nibbles welcoming them. We had a stunning suite. Loved our stay there

Great choice at breakfast both fresh and freshly cooked. Almost everything homemade. The building has been converted to a really elegant hotel. The garden is a real bonus.

We attended at the hotel on a Sunday afternoon, where we found out that they don’t serve meals Sunday at all. ( No staff).
But to be fair, No restaurants or cafes were open either owing to it being Sunday. (this included the town where the cafes and restaraunt’s don’t open till around 8 pm.
But right next door to the hotel is a garage that sells fresh baked bread. Cakes. Packed meat slices. Cheese and drinks. More than enough to see us through.
