Employee receptionist was Rude

I had an issue when booked online. Hotel receptionist she was rude, she said she did not have booking on my name and she is least worried about what should I do next. I had to hotels.in by myself and resolve the issue. Hotel Employees especially the receptionist was too rude and she dint bother if the customer is in trouble.

Very impressive!

Luxurious look, clean, well maintained - certainly one of the best budget hotels I have stayed at. Located in the middle of the shopping district with the beach just a 15 minute walk away and a movie theater bang opposite the hotel! Spacious well equipped rooms with plenty of natural light. Excellent food and service at the in-house restaurant.

Comfortable stay in pondicherry

Hotel jayaraman is located at a very busy locality. Our stay was very good and comfortable. Everything was quite near by. The beach, Ashram. Commuting was easy.

きれいなホテルですが、周辺環境はうるさいです。

ホテルは清潔で、レストランもついていて快適でした。しかし、周りの環境はとてもうるさく、ポンディチェリーらしさは感じられませんでした。しばらく宿泊を考えていましたが、結局ビーチの近くのきれいなエリアの近くのホテルにチェックインしなおしました。

Acceptable

Cet hotel etait acceptable compte tenu du prix demande. Avions 2 grosse bouteille d eau par jour et le service internet etait disponible a la chambre avec une tres bonne reception et ce a 50 roupies l heure. Comme ailleurs en Inde la salle de bain est pas tres propre. La chambre grande et confortable. Situee au centre ville a 30 minutes a pied du bord de l eau. Endroit secure

Room service was bad. Even the guy who brought the food was rude. We were ready to pay tips but decided against it as we felt he didn't deserve it.

Hotel Annamalai in Pondicherry - Comfortable stay

Pros: Enjoyed stay in Hotel Annamalai International, Pondicherry, Well mannered staff and comfortable stay, and breakfast(south indian). They keep it clean and the front desk staff are very supportive which forms the basis for recommending the same to others. Cons: Expectations from a 3 star hotel - a tub in the bathroom and a warm pool, and pool facility to be open during evening hours (atleast till 9 PM) was NOT met. Pool was too cold, and there was no tub in the bathroom. Worst part was the pool would be closed as early as 5 PM. Hope they would improve these. Was not value for money.

Not bad, not good.

This hotel is quite pleasant. The hot water system works , the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The décor is faded but with charm. Room service staff will soon let you know politely if they consider your tip too small, however the food is cheap and good Indian vegetarian fare. The only real drawback is that the hotel is in a very noisy , dirty and busy part of town. Also the staff were constantly shouting to each other in the corridor outside my room from early morning onward. Ear plugs a must.

Hotel scarsissimo

Le due stelle sono più che appropriate. Il sito web mostra un hotel da lusso, meglio non farsi ingannare. Il personale è piuttosto scortese. La pulizia in camera è mancata per tutta una settimana, il rubinetto era rotto e nessuno veniva a ripararlo. Unica nota positiva è il risotorante con menù indiano molto vasto ed a costi bassi per gli standard occidentali (ma l'igiene lascia a desiderare). E se capitate in una camera a lato strada c'è un frastuono assordantre per il traffico.,

Nice place to stay

We found rates are very economical - stay, food, laundry etc. Staff is helpful, polite. Located at nice place. No outside noise Very good hotel to stay with family.

Stay here for the restaurant

If you visit Puducherry you should visit the hotel restaurant. It is amazing and churns out really good South Indian food all day, cheap and fast. We ate five times at the restaurant. It was nice to skip the usual strawberry jelly (jam) and toast and have some tasty Indian breakfast. The location is not too bad with a 20 minute walk into the action and reaching the French quarter. The hotel itself has a promising lobby, however the rooms are a little run down. Despite having a room not facing the street, we were woken up at numerous times by people talking in the corridor or the paper delivery guy talking at 6:00am in the corridor. The reception staff are at best indifferent. However, the manager was very friendly and interested in us.

Situated in the middle of the city . Very Beatiful and Elegant Hotel . The Receptionist are very good people. Muthu is a very humble receptionist and very helpful too. Food is good and Fresh . well maintained ambience. i just loved it it was perfect for my business trip......iam gonna visit Jayaram Hotel Again !!!

Can't beat it for the money

For the money we spent, I can't imagine we could do better. Hotel Jayaram has an attractive lobby. Hallways were a bit dingy but our room was very spacious with big windows, TV & A/C. Hot water in the bathroom 24/7! We did not eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that but their were plenty of local patrons eating there so our assumption was that the food must be ok. Over all, an excellent value for the money and we would stay there again if ever in Pondicherry!

Hotel Jayaram

I had referred this hotel to my friend and family. I have'nt stayed in this hotel and was worried if they would go disatisfied with any of the services. Fortunately, Hotel Jayaram proved to be a good choice for a medium range accommodation with good food and neat accommodation. Thanks HOTEL JAYARAM - u saved my friendship ;)
