"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! "The hotel was disgustingly. It stank of cigarettes. Chose it as conveniently close to Anfield for a match we were attending. The room was filthy. Dust everywhere No bin. No tea or coffee facilities as advertised. Not even a bin in the room. Tv didn’t work. Only 1 towel for 2 of us. Bathroom dusty and shower was filthy. Toilet cistern dripped all night. Couldn’t wait to leave. Please avoid."

"Mo runs a great serviced accommodation. Immaculate, simple automated check in, well stocked and large kitchen, everything you need for an overnight or longer. Way better than a hotel, and reasonably priced. Shops close by, too."
