Lovely stay for one night. The breakfast was incredible, the view is out of this world. The traffic can be nosy on the main road but not that it bothered us! Very accommodating service and the friendliest staff!

The hotel is comfortable. At first, I was a little confused by the location, but Francesco helped me get there. It's clean, quiet, and the staff is very attentive. The breakfast is delicious and varied. There's a bus stop in front of the hotel; you can take the bus back right there. To get downtown, you have to walk about 15 minutes or wait for a bus that takes you downtown. I liked the hotel and the service, and the views from the hotel are impressive: overlooking the ocean and part of the city.

Loved staying in this cozy b&b

Angela and Nicola were so sweet and took such good care of us during our stay with them. Felt like we were staying with our grandparents. They really helped make our stay in Positano a memorable one. Even though the b&b isn’t in the “city center”, my husband and I still walked to a lot of places and back regularly, and felt safe to do so!

Loved this place & the location!

Loved our stay at this hotel! It is very convenient and close to the Arienza beach, with a beautiful view of the coastline, but also in the quieter area which was nice for relaxing. There is so much space in the rooms and the showers were very nice! Also, our check-in process was smooth and Rosa was so helpful and even called to confirm our boat tour for the next day and give us tips on where to visit during our stay. Lastly, it is a bus stop location, so whenever we took the bus from the main center of town we could easily come back to the hotel and get dropped off right in front of it! Would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

we absolutely loved this property. It was a lot more spacious than we anticipated and the views were gorgeous. We felt comfortable walking down to downtown Positano but didn't feel comfortable walking back at night due to the darkness, roads, and the cars. You have to really be on the lookout.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at La Sorgente del Sol. It is more like a charming bed and breakfast than a hotel. The staff is so friendly and everything is so clean! We enjoyed dips in the hot tub and breakfasts on the patio. Stunning views. We walking into town each day. Keep in mind there are no sidewalks so you are walking on narrow roads and sharing space with cars. But we had no trouble and enjoyed the beautiful scenic walks. Just lovely!

The property was very clean and general all was good. Until last night the AC Was broken and owner were advised about it, then we literally slept outside the room because the heat and when we went to the room the owner said he have to check out at 10 am, was completely ridiculous. There wasn't any other guess in the property. We left and wish the best, i don't recommend this property if you want to stay close to the city and watch the time you need to leave because they don't accept you to stay any longer than 10am.

Overall, this was an ok experience, but I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend this to anyone traveling to Positano.. We felt mislead in that there was a beautiful balcony to enjoy (which we were looking forward to and specifically booked this place for), but the woman who ran the establishment was so strict and in our business that we felt extremely uncomfortable making any noise or enjoying the space. The owner leered out from us at her window, and rudely came in when we were checking out to make nasty faces and inspect everything. Just uncomfortable. Location-wise, it was really inconvenient and out of the way from the main drag in positano, which was surprising for how overpriced this location was. We reached out to the owner to help coordinate a car, and the car that came was 15 minutes late, almost causing us to miss our scheduled tour, and the driver charged us 50 euro and talked nastily about us the entire ride (which was 14 minutes... for 50 euro...) Zero sound proofing, could hear every thing going on in each room. Again, disappointing for such an insanely high price/for somewhere not even in Positano. The breakfasts were good. I'd try to find a different place to stay though.

Fantastiskt boende och underbar familj som äger det. Vi hade bokat lägenhet och den hade alla bekvämligheter. Frukost ingick. Ligger dock lite utanför Positano, gångavstånd ca 20 min. Finns ett busstopp utanför huset, gäller bara att bussen stannar.

We’ve stayed at a lot of places but this was by far the cleanest we’ve ever experienced. I wish we could adopt the cleaner. Very nice place.

A very nice place to stay. 20 min walk to downtown Positano. Bus stop is right downstairs. Rosa was very helpful. We stayed in a large apartment with a small balcony. Kitchen is fully equipped, great shower, parking garage available for 20 euros a day. Very happy with everything.

Our stay here was awesome. We stayed in the deluxe apartment with a big balcony and view of the Mediterranean It's is very well decorated in Italian style furnishings and clean. They provided some beverages upon our arrival and cleaning after 3 days. The 3rd bedroom is rather small but the others are good size. There is a washer for use up one flight of stairs. There is a a shared hot tub and sunning deck. It's about a 25 minute walk to the center of Positano and 300 steps up and down to the nearest beach (Arienzo). Be ready to do a lot of walking anywhere in Italy! The taxi ride from town is about 20 euros. Carla helped us with whatever we needed and was an easy text away. We would return!

This was one of the best place's I have ever stayed. The owners are such nice hardworking people. They were so easy to talk you and any questions we had, they answered and did more to help us. They truly deserve more than 5 Stars for this place!! The check in & out was nice and easy. Very close to Arienzo Beach and minutes walking distance from the City Center. The rooms were spotless, the view from our balcony was breathtaking. They had a nice big garage to park your car in. Looking forward to coming back next year and staying here again!

Great buses on the door of the hotel

Great clean room, great shower! Amazing how the bus into Positano (€1.80 each way) town, right at the door of the hotel, on the side of the street. Also, bus to Sorrento etc. right outside the door of the hotel also, very useful! Lovely views of Positano from here also. Small hot tub that I couldn't get to work though

Great stay with the best view

We were staying in the 3 bedroom apartment. Had a wonderful stay with the best view. One of the bedrooms were tiny. The Positano city centre is a kilometer away. Great stay with very friendly staff.

Nice apartment outside of Positano

The apartment we stayed in was well equipped and comfortable. The location is slightly out of Positano, it takes about 20 mins to walk to the main area of Positano (no comfortable sidewalks, you are walking on the road). There is a lovely beach close to the apartment, Rosa was wonderful and explained to us how to find the stairs that reach it. Parking costs 20 Euro extra per day. While I did know this in advance, I do not think there should be a separate fee for parking, it should be part of the room hire cost.

This place was more like an airbnb than an actual hotel. NOTE: you have to make prior arrangements in order to check in, otherwise there is no reception, its just a small gate leading up the stairs, which can be hard to find. You have to call the "host" to open the doors for you and pick up your keys, luckily we had paid for a traveling cellphone plan so we can dial the local number listed by the entrance. The location is decent, about 15min walk to the center of Positano. The staff was friendly and they left us with water, refreshments and other snacks, which was very thoughtful. I would recommend this place to other travelers looking for a value stay.
