The hotel was lovely - super-clean, with unmistakeable Mediterranean vibe. Breakfast excellent, good quality and lots of choice. The pool area was very clean and pleasant, too, and it is only a 3-min walk to the beach so it was perfectly possible to lie down by the pool an occasionally walk down for a dip in the sea. What surprised us was that the restaurant only opened for light dishes at lunchtime, no bar, no dinner , however the receptionist talked us through the map to point out the nearest options. The area is generally very quiet during the day, even in the town centre we only found a couple of cafes open in the afternoon. Portoscuso doesn't seem popular with foreign visitors - but the beach was full of Italians, the staff at shops and restaurants didn't speak much English but were warm and welcoming, we always figured it out somehow. We absolutely loved the authenticity of the whole experience.

Vi hadde et famlierom med nydelig utsikt. Resturanten på hotellet var ikke åpent, veldig skuffende! Baren på hotellet var kun oppe til kl 20 hver kveld.

Superbra läge! Fin utsikt!

Bra läge. Nära stranden, nära fina klippbad och en lagom promenad (15 min) från staden och restauranger. Fantastisk utsikt! Jättefint och lugnt poolområde. Helt okej frukost. Trevlig personal. Ska tillägga att vi var näst intill ensamma på hotellet den här veckan. Dagen för avresa var det lite mer folk och det märktes både vid frukosten (som snabbt blev lite urplockad) och vid poolområdet (som inte var riktigt lika lugnt).

Très beau hôtel ,très bien situé à l’écart du village donc au calme. Personnels très accueillant et serviable Propre et nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassé et le prix est très abordable avec un petit déjeuner très fourni Je vous le recommande Dommage que la piscine soit pas un peu chauffée mais c’est juste parce que je suis très frileuse

Très bel endroit près de la plage, grande suite pour 3 personnes au calme et vue mer. Belle piscine. Pas de restauration durant notre séjour, c’est dommage, bon petit déjeuner. Bon accueil. Je recommande.

Hotel bom, atendimento excelente e café da manhã muito bom. As instalações do quarto são antigas e precisam de alguns cuidados: o cobertor do quarto não é confortável, faltam travesseiros (tínhamos somente 02 travesseiros para duas pessoas). Pelo preço, eu esperava mais. Mas no geral é um bom hotel

Großzügige Anlage in Gehweite zu einer wunderschönen Bucht, sehr schöne große Gartenanlage mit Pool, allerdings sehr windanfällig. Restaurant und Frühstücksraum leider nicht im Freien. Schönes spa.

Amazing seaviews and close to sightseeings

Amazing location close to many beautiful sights, bays for snorkeling and beaches for chilling within 45 min drive. We got the suite, which was big and cosy and with a private terrasse with amazing sea views. Watching the sun set over the Mediterranean Sea from the terrasse was beautiful. Only minus was that the beds were very hard, and that the room had no real shower but a bathtub with a hand held shower hose that was too short. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. They did all they could to satisfy all guests. They even served breakfast outside at the pool when we asked for it. Breakfast buffet was ok with too much cake though. The beach is only 50-100 meters away and very packed in peak season. However we were always able to find a spot for 4 persons. There are two nice beach bars right on the beach. The one closest to the hotel makes good pizzas from stoneowen. The city of Portoscuso is one of three sites in Sardinia that can legally fish tuna. The old center of the town is cosy but avoid the industrial area to the south of the city though. Most of the factories are no longer in service. This is an authentic fishing town. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel but bring the car as you might want to see more than just the one local beach in Portoscuso.

Posto stupendo in riva al mare, servizio eccellente,,personale Cortese gentile e professionale. Ottima la cucina con piatti veramente gustosi . Camere spaziose e ben pulite. vista spettacolare dalle camere con Tramonti stupefacenti.

Great facilities, but could use some improvement

The pool area was really nice and the location of the hotel was great with beautiful sunsets! The rooms were not super clean and had a bit of a stuffy smell. Some of the staff had a bit of an attitude when we asked for simple tips such as parking and getting a print of an important document we needed. Not as helpful and smiling as we experienced in other hotels in Sardinia - which could have created a better atmosphere at the hotel.

A gem of a hotel

Great staff ,especially Omero who is very helpful, along with Virginia and Mateo. Hotel is very clean, restaurant food excellent, and the pool fantastic.2 mins from beach and bars, but a drive into town, otherwise 20+ min walk ( in the heat) Great holiday- Many thanks

Hotellet i seg selv var veldig flott! Utsikten var nydelig, og man kunne se solen gå ned i havet fra balkongen. Hyggelig personale og rene rom. Frokosten var inkludert i prisen, og var helt ok. Litt rart at 80% besto av kaker som ble fylt på kontinuerlig, mens egg og bacon kun ble fylt på en gang. Dette ble bestandig tomt, og hvis man er der etter 08:30 kan du glemme å få noe. Ellers synes jeg beliggenheten til hotellet er dårlig, annet enn at utsikten er utrolig vakker. Portoscuso var et veldig kjedelig sted. Kun to restauranter i nærheten, og den ene svindler deg for penger. Er noen få restauranter i byen, men det er en liten gåtur. Dessuten er det kun pizzeriaer eller sjømat. Restauranten på hotellet tilbyr mat, men denne var svært kjedelig og ikke spesielt god. Fikk også beskjed om at man måtte velge en 3 retters middag for å spise der. For det meste sjømat, men litt kjøtt innimellom. Ville ikke bodd på dette hotellet om du ikke har bil. Stranden i nærheten er virkelig stappfull, så om du ikke vil dele håndkle med 10 andre så er det helt nødvendig å kjøre andre steder.
