Our Cocomo Resort stay was made one of our best because of two things. First was the staff who went way beyond what we have had in other places.Special thanks to Anne and Myra in the office and Arnie and the girls in the dining area. Second, the unit we had beside the lagoon was so restful and like our own little haven. The little fish we could feed when sitting on the deck and being able to walk straight into the water, a few outrigger canoes going past and the locals crab fishing. The unit was described as "luxury" but needs a lot of nornal maintanance to bring it up to standard. No milk in the fridge, not seviced on Sunday, heat pump dripping water, roller blinds on front are beyond fixing to make them work, no phone, no deck or side lights working (were fixed), side door wouldn't slide(fixed), outside shower area covered in rubbish and lounger chairs rotting away. There was a new resort manager started the day we arrived and she appears to be trying to raise the general appearance of the resort. The unkept lawns and paths were being tidied up making the whole area really nice, but one groundsman carn't maintain it to that standard. One of the owners from Hong Kong was there also and has made a cooked breakfast alternative. Unfortunatel the continental breakfast was diminished. The banana pancakes as often referred to are very good. The fresh fruit was cut to a small cut up portion. A great resort area overlooking the lagoon with staff I would hire anywhere in the world.
