"Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The views of the sea from every bedroom, restaurant, swimming pool and bar were breathtaking. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly. Breakfast was incredible - so much choice and delicious. The 10 minute bus ride from right outside the hotel to the old town every 15 minutes was perfect. We had such a glorious time. ❤️"

"You will get the best view of Dubrovnik old town from almost everywhere in excelsior hotel. Breakfast is very good both in variety and quality. Rooms are in good standard, very clean and comfortable. Service are excellent. A bit pricey but if you don’t mind spending more for nice view and service, this hotel is a very good choice. "terrific staff, nice room, great location. As with all hotels in the 'Old Town', you must walk from the city gate (with your bags) to the hotel, sometimes through narrow streets, up abundant stairs and on uneven roads, but this hotel was easy to get to and just one set of stairs to climb."

"We stayed here for several days and the proximity to the bus for travel into Old Town Dubrovnik was very easy. The room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our 5th floor balcony. Restaurant called Piramida was just a short walk down the hill and was so delicious we ate there 4 times. "Great little room in the heart of Dubrovnik. The location is in a quiet little lane just a few steps to everything you want to see in Dubrovnik. The room was small but had everything we could possibly need including a mini fridge, a coffee maker and hot water pot.
