"Everything about this hotel is amazing— the service was attentive and effective and the accommodations are so beautiful. The private pool provided such a lovely way to unwind and spend time outside. The location is a little isolated, but they have a shuttle they generously allow patrons to use, which helps! The restaurant is the best food I’ve ever had, highly recommend!"

"The staff make this hotel something special, going out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The room and grounds are elegant, and the beach and a handful of shops and restaurants are just a minute’s walk. Only downsides were insects in the room, and heavy traffic where Grab drivers seem hesitant to stop."

"Wir haben eine Nacht hier verbracht, weil wir am nächsten Tag mit der Fähre weiter gefahren sind. Die Lage war dafür top, weil man nur 3 Minuten bis zum Hafen von Sanur läuft. Sehr nettes Personal, das für uns sogar auf Wunsch ein Glutenfreies Frühstück (Nasi Goreng und frisches Obst) vorbereitet hat. "
"The Meru er intet mindre end et fantastisk sted. Vi har rejst mange steder i Asien på 5 stjernede hoteller, men har ALDRIG mødt så sublim service som på The Meru. Personalet vil gøre alt for, at du har det godt og du føler dig virkeligt værdsat. De har en butler-service, som hjalp os med alt fra ekstra rengøring, transport til indpakning af figurer i træ vi havde købt, så de kunne gå direkte i bagagen på flyet. Vi nød maksimalt alle 8 dage vi boede her.

"This property was amazing, we have no complaints at all. Loved the spa that was particularly special and very professional. The food was amazing there if I had any complaints it would be that the prices are more premium than out along the Sanur beach seafront. Saying that it was lovely 😊 "
"We absolutely loved the villas here. We were on our honeymoon, and when we arrived the bath was poured and filled with salts and petals, swan towels with petals and flowers decorated the bed, and there were candles in the bathroom. What a lovely arrival! Having the private pool is a decadence we are now addicted to; the pool area was amazing with a huge cabana and outdoor shower and toilet. The beds are very comfortable and the housekeeping staff keep the place immaculate, cleaning twice a day...
"Villa Mahapala is the perfect spot to stay. The villas and surrounding landscape is great. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Being about 100m from the beach makes it a perfect location to enjoy all that Sanur offers."
