Excellence location just off the highway but still reasonably quiet. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Short 2 minute drive to J. Timothy's restaurant for the best wings!

A well maintained property with an above average Breakfast Buffet included. Quiet and easy to get to. Would definitely stay there again. My wife and I recently stayed at another hotel in North Carolina which advertised itself as top of the line but was quite trashy. We left after one night. This hotel lived up to its billing.

Late arrival and they handed out one of our 2 rooms out that was double queen. Had to settle for King, unfortunately that room had no running hot water. The double queen room did not have drainage of sink trap was locked in down position had to prop it open with a butter knife for water to drain. Have picture of it and was too late to find maintenance.

Considering other hotels in the area, i would NOT stay here again. The pool was not working, the restaurant permanently closed, no vending areas on any floors, just behind the front desk, and older worn carpeting. This hotel is not up to standards and is in the same class as a Motel 6 or so.

There wasn't much to like. Expedia advertised a Hot tub, indoor heated pool and restaurant. None of this was available. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was because I needed to soak in a hot tub due to a knee injury. When we check in and reviewed what was in the hotel and the over zealous clerk said we don't have a hot tub and we haven't had it since Covid. We'll it's on the Expedia website for this hotel. Next came the pool, It was not working, a pump was broken the night before our checkin - Why didn't then get it fixed? Ok. Next came the Restaurant, It advertised Breakfast, lunch and dinner and live music on site. Well, it closed 4 weeks prior. Why aren't these things updated in the Expedia listing for the hotels. No compensation of any kind was offered. We came very close to leaving but couldn't get anything in the area. So the next day, we had breakfast in the lobby area. It was adequit at best. The hot food was cold. The toaster didn't toast anything completely. We left for a day of touring the area. When we returned, we were shocked to find that our room had not been touched by any housekeeping personal. When we questioned the front desk (same women who checked us in). She then told us that the rooms were only cleaned every other day. So, nothing that had been used in the room (coffee, creamers, plastic cups, towels) had been replenished. Is this a new practice? I was upset that there was no hot tub. Apparently this was the 3rd hotel on this road trip that said hot tub and a pool but no hot tub. Hotels. Com needs to have the hotels update their amenities.

Fairfield Inn was truly a treat! Outstanding decor in the lobby and breakfast area. Helpful staff….check-in a breeze…room well appointed and super clean, as is the entire property. Breakfast was a delight…5*****….will happily rebook at this chain….

The associate at the desk was super friendly, the hotel very clean. The room was very clean as well as smelled clean. That is always my test. The breakfast was very tasty. I did almost fall in the shower as I’m only 5’ and reaching up to the pump cleaners which are rather high caused me to become unbalanced and the shower floor is rather slippery. Otherwise we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel anytime.
