This large space was a welcome change after being in hotel rooms for 2 weeks! Although it's somewhat dated, we enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, toaster, and coffee maker. Check in and check out was easy. A great value.

Very pleased

The unit was clean and very spacious with full kitchen and separate bedroom. The only negative was the hot temperature, and when we turned on the air conditioning, we didn't hear it turn on. We called for assistance and received immediate attention, learning that it takes a while for the cooling to turn on.

I made an unfavorable post earlier because there were so many things, but I did change rooms once I got there and the 2nd room was not ready. I talked to the staff and everything was fixed immediately and I would definitely recommend staying at this place. They are kind, courteous and very close to so many things. The price is very good to. You will find yourself very comfortable here.

What a pleasant surprise. We were expecting a hotel room with a kitchenette and got a one bedroom apartment. It was clean and comfortable, and we loved the extra space. Close to most anything you might need. Would definitely stay here again.

It was great, very clean. Impressive amenities. You just hear everything from above so I kept thinking my child was waking up in the night, but it was someone running around upstairs. Everything else was perfect! Would stay again.

The Central Downtown Inn & Suites has no front desk so make sure you contact the number on your reservation prior if you have any questions. Carmen was very helpful and the check in instructions were send by text message when the room was ready. It was clear and easy. The place was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Centrally located, free parking, free working wifi and spacious.

Recommend Highly, even your puppy pal is welcomed

From check-in to check- out our stay here was fantastic! The manager, Carmen, made the experience easy and seamless. This was my boyfriend and my first attempt at traveling with the 6 year old dog we rescued last year. Our friends recommended this location because the rooms are clean, spacious and close to downtown Pittsfield. The attention to detail was obvious from the start and so refreshing! This will be our go-to place to stay when we just need some New England air to recharge our Jersey batteries!

Un-needed anxiety

Hotels.com messed up our reservation at The Central Downtown Inn & Suites by not confirming with the hotel whether there were enough of the right kind hotel room we needed. The hotel manager, Carmen, was great and apologetic for Hotels.com's mistake, but she couldn't do anything about it. Hotels.com did make other arrangements for us at another hotel that worked out for our stay, but the initial anxiety created by their mistake was not enjoyable, especially when we had a newborn that needed to be fed and had to be breast-fed in the car
