Excellent place to stay. Highly recommend if you have family admitted in Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital. Hotel is located only a few minutes away. Staff is wonderful.

Great facility. The room had everything we needed and overall the hotel has a great aesthetic. We loved the rooftop bar - fantastic view. Very convenient location, a short drive from Pitt. We were traveling with our dog and the hotel was very welcoming. Only downside was noise from traffic as our room was in the 40th street side. Would definitely stay here again.

High ceilings, cool art, comfy beds, clean bathrooms with all the bottled stuff you need when you’re away from home (even a high-end-ish body lotion!). At $100 a night, I think it’s an absolute steal. And we didn’t even get to the rooftop restaurant and bar, which I hear is amazing! Only con: was surprised by the $32 valet charge. Maybe I shouldn’t have been, but I was. Eh, no matter! Will definitely stay at Tryp again!

Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of a vibrant nightlife neighborhood in Pittsburgh. The staff were very attentive and very helpful, from the valet parking attendant to the restaurant's staff. Everyone made sure you felt listen to and taken care of. The Hotel itself was beautiful, recently renovated, with an artsy feel. We dined in the hotel's restaurant on the rooftop, and the views of all of Pittsburgh were just breathtaking. All in all a very relaxed and pleasant stay in a top notch hotel. Highly recommended.

I am very critical of my hotel stays. I can certainly say this was 1 of my top 5 hotel stays. I travel alot. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean, and the decor was absolutely beautiful. If I am ever in Pittsburgh again, this will be my hotel of choice.

I did want to comment on the poor registration process that I received when arriving at check in at the hotel. The attendant had a very poor attitude while requesting my information at check in, there was no orientation of the hotel's amenities that were offered while we stayed at the property, the mood of the attendant was not appreciated, and didn't make me feel appreciated. The cleaning staff was wonderful and appreciated. The hotel is nicely located, and was very clean.
