This is a multi-generational family-run property and they make you feel like family. It is just outside Piazza Amerina and a few minutes drive from the must-see Villa Romana. So much easier than trying to drive to and park at a hotel in the city. Parking is free. There is a restaurant onsite, which is also where you check in/out. The bed was comfy and the room & bathroom were spacious. Everyone from the owner & his mother to the extended family and cleaning staff treated us warmly.

Unterkunft mit Herz

Aufenthalt war sehr urig – alles vorhanden, und für ein Agriturismo gut ausgestattet. Die beiden Abendessen waren fantastisch! Ursprüngliche, sizilianische Küche, mit viel Liebe zubereitet, der Wein aus dem Haus und sehr, sehr mundig und gut verträglich. Der Kontakt mit der Familie war sehr herzlich und wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

It was lovely to stay outside the town surrounded by olive trees. The dinner provided in the restaurant was excellent and beautifully cooked and served. The family do a great job looking after the property and their guests

Really lovely family and great food!

First of all I need to say we didn't actually stay at the B and B! There had been a double booking and we stayed elsewhere in the end. But we were treated very kindly by the owners of Giucalem and we also ate there breakfast once and dinner twice and the food was great. The family actually ran us around quite a bit if we went there to eat they came to pick us up and took us back. They were really lovely. I think this B and B would be best if you have a car, we didn't and being out of the town would have been tricky as there is no bus going that way.

Excellente maison d’hôte!

Excellent séjour. Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse! Et le repas du soir est succulent, de délicieux produits et préparations authentiques. Bref une maison d’hôte qu’on vous recommende chaudement. Et en plus à 5 min de la villa romana del Casale.

Excellent Siciliano hospitality

A well run farm house in a lush garden away from noise but easy to reach the town and the location of beautiful mosaics. Family run, clean and with charm. Breakfast, homemade was excellent. We felt at home and were welcome as family guests, not customers, the great hospitality of the people of Sicily! Highly recommended

Nice B&B, Shame about the neighbours

The ensuite room was a good size, clean and well furnished with air conditioning; The bed comfortable; The staff friendly & helpful -- despite me not speaking a word of Italian; The breakfasts generous beyond the point of excess; The gardens, vegetable plot, olive groves and fruit orchards a delight to be in. However the constant noise of many local dogs barking at all times of day and night, Neighbouring kids on motor bikes riding up and down the lane for hours;. The nearby truly awful karaoke singer at a volume to raise the dead. All mean I won't recommend the place to anyone who likes a bit of peace and quiet.

Bed and breakfast très accueillant

Les chambres sont réparties sur la propriété et dans le bâtiment principal. L'accueil est excellent par le fils de Giusepe qui est aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des fruits frais, des produits maisons et d'autres. Nous avons bien dormi.

A warm welcome and very good breakfast. Access to the rooms, many a long way from the car parking area, is down slopes, mostly on gravel paths. Some of the room fittings need minor maintenance.

Hard to communicate with hosts unless your Italian is good. Setting is in a big garden on the edge of town. Wifi code dos. It work and no one could help. Breakfast was great at the big table. Nice homemade jams, ETA.

Explendido ByB en un ambiente relajado y campestre

Hermosa casa de campo con todas las comodidades de la vida moderna. La sala del desayunador era explendida y el desayuno excelente con todos productos artesanales del lugar. Los anfitriones 20 puntos no dejaron que faltara nada y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Sin duda recomendaria este ByB.

What a Breakfast!

This B&B is below the town of Piazza Armerina and on the way to the Roman Villa. It is located amidst market gardens. The breakfast is fabulous

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel!

Un accueil très chaleureux dans une famille typiquement sicilienne. Le cadre est agréable, les chambres simples mais propres et spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est EXCEPTIONNEL!!! Au tant en salé qu'en sucré avec une bonne partie de produits faits maison,de loin le meilleur de notre séjour en Sicile. Je recommande vivement ce B&B!

Herzliche Gastfamilie

Trotz des leichten Regens (Ausnahme auf Sizilien) hatten wir einen warmen Empfang, sogar mit etwas Wein von eigenem Rebberg. Auch der Frühstück war köstlich mit selbergemachten ( von der 'nonna') Konfitüren und vieles mehr. Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Häuschen mit dem Blick auf Garten sehr gut gefallen!
