"Gorgeously updated historic hotel smack in the midst of downtown. Busy bar district at night, but quiet inside. Upstairs from the pub, but not a sound made it to us on the second floor. Stunningly restored, and a spooky bit of lore about it. Comfortable beds, nice and dark at night, great location AND secure parking out back for a few vehicles. Would have loved to have asked the staff for some stories or history but didn't want to pry. Continental breakfast was lower end, but the room it's in is...

"They asked me deposited 150 and guarantee return to me after checked out. But 6 days later, I still can't receive it. Why? Also the hotel is really smelly. After I checked out I have to wash all my clothes!"

"As far as affordable hotels goes, this was up there for the under $100 category - clean, quiet, safe area, 30+ degrees out and the AC worked great, blackout curtains meant a proper dark night- front desk staff grabbed us another towel and pillow at our request and were beyond polite and helpful about it. Great little neighborhood to go for a stretch/stroll in, gas station conveniently across from the front desk for an easy fill in the morning."

"Hey, we paid $62.. because that's what fit the budget.. the kind of place you want to leave your shoes on in.. including the shower. Thin curtains, and the AC struggled with the 29 degree heat. Pillows smelled a bit of sweaty hair.. not mine.. the surfaces were sticky, and the rad had fallen off at some point, but the paint chippings and dry wall hadn't ever been vacuumed.. there are a few rooms with plywood over the doors and I wondered if maybe this room wasn't supposed to be one of those?...

"Difficulty accessing, as the road in front was under construction. However, a quick call and I was provided alternative directions. Room was clean, very basic. Good enough if only there to sleep. Staff very helpful with carrying luggage upstairs. No problem with the shared bathroom."

"Staff was not helpful. My reserved room was a king sized bed and large room. I was instead given a tiny room with a twin sized bed that had a very thin coil spring mattress. The springs were not cushioned making the night quite uncomfortable with the springs poking through. I've not slept on a coil spring mattress like that for more than 50 years. The toilet seat in the bathroom was loose, the shower head was partially plugged, and the carpet appeared to not have been vacuumed for some...

"This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. A delicious breakfast and nutritious breakfast was served each morning of my weeklong stay. The host is warm and welcoming. It is very clean and spacious."
