Outstanding, luxurious hotel a few kms away from Mount Bromo. We booked 2 deluxe attic rooms. Rooms were sumptuous, each with 3 beds and a shared living area. Views, when the clouds didn’t drop, were breathtaking. Food was excellent - the best we had in Java. Staff were incredibly helpful. Hotel can arrange trips to see Bromo but do book this in advance. If you want to see Bromo in luxury this is the place for you.

The view is great, fresh air, great food, lots of activities, quiet ambience

it was an Amazing stay. Was pleasantly surprised with the locale

we had a very good experience at the hotel. amazing view of the animals from the room and a lot of activities for us to take part in. However, the rooms can be bigger and have more facilities inside, for e.g., small fridge, ironing board, iron. overall, the hotel is good.

Friendly staff

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and modern. Breakfast was varied and ample.

In spite of arriving when new staff was on reception duty, the more experienced hotel staff was able to correct her mistake. They tried to make up for it by being extra-helpful.

Note that if you are arriving at the weekend but aren't planning to visit the park proper until the Monday, you have to pay the higher weekend park entry fee. Rooms are in rows of 'cottages' outside - has a bit of a feel of a holiday camp. The rooms are quite small, basic and quite dingy. Very dated but everything worked. Breakfast in...
