Our stay at Aquamarina Resort was good

Our stay at Aquamarina Resort was good. Everyone was extremely nice, room was clean and bigger than expected and it was definitely quieter than many other places we visited on the island. Some complaints we had were, we got to the room from a morning of travel and arrived to a rain storm. We figured we would wait it out by ordering room service although when calling and asking about their menu, they told us we had to go to the outside bar to obtain (taking the convenience out of room service). Finally, when the rain stopped we went to the pool area and asked where we could obtain pool towels and they told us we had to go to the front desk (don’t you think they should have provided upon check-in). Day 2, we got back to the room from exploring the island and the cleaners left our patio door wide open. Not that I think this place housed individuals that would go into a room that wasn’t there’s, although you never know. These are all small things which can absolutely be fixed, and shouldn’t change your mind about staying here. Just a couple things to keep in mind upon your arrival.

The resort property is really nice, quiet and relaxing. One thing we had problem with was electricity went off for awhile and AC wasn’t working. This issue was fixed within the same day.

Un coin de paradis

Hôtel situé au Sud Est de l'île (25mn en voiture depuis le port), dans un coin préservé (il y a 4 resort de petite taille sur cette plage) Hébergement façon petites maisons disséminés sur l'emplacement, très confortables et climatisées. Piscine immense avec solarium, et il suffit de descendre quelques marches pour être sur la plage (avec parasol réservés aux clients). Petit déjeuner très varié et copieux, et restaurant avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. Dernière semaine d'août donc peu de clients, et calme absolu. Personnel très disponible et aux petits soins.

The rooms are large but very simple. The service is excellent but the breakfast is very simple and not suitable for a 4 star hotel. The worst is the shower... The simplest faucet with a rusty water sprinkler and weak water flow. Beautiful and well-kept public area, good beach.

This resort exceeded our expectations. Coming from Mykonos we were excited to relax beachside/poolside and this resort delivers both with access to beach chairs and Umbrellas. There was even a wind surfing booth under the resort (not associated with resort) that was very inexpensive that was fun to do. Very friendly people around this area.

Aquamarina resort was great! It’s On the most beautiful pristine beach. The staff was tireless in Making sure guests have everything they need! Especially Sophia! One note/ you should rent a car in Paros. It’s easy!

Das hotel liegt sehr schön, direkt an einem kleinen Strand mit eigenen Liegen. Der Pool ist schön groß und wird morgens immer sauber gemacht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, vor allem das Brot! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hotel and Staff are great, location not so

The staff at the hotel were lovely and friendly (as are most Greeks you will encounter to be honest). There was not much in the way of additional facilities offered by the hotel but as we were staying in the area for a wedding we would not have used them anyway. For those looking for a very quiet, escape from it all type holiday then i would suggest that this may be ideal but there is very little to do in that part of the island. However, the island is so small that you are never more than 30 mins drive from any other part of Paros. If you stay here you will definitely need a car unless you just intend to say by the pool and use the beach. Nearest proper shops are in Pisa Livadiou (5 minute drive or 30 min walk).

Excellent séjour à Acquamarina Resort

Tout est fait pour passer un excellent séjour, qualités de l'hôtel, du service, du personnel de restauration, de l'environnement. Hotel très bien situé sur la côte "Est" à proximité immédiate de la plage. Nous avions choisi la demi pension, nous ne le regrettons pas. La cuisine est simple mais de qualité, toujours avec des parts copieuses!

Fantastic relaxed hotel on sporty private beech

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the buildings are typically Greek style, white-washed square-shaped design very much like the little houses you see on the island, with very nicely done unassuming communal buildings like the reception, breakfast room/terrace and restaurant, fitted out in a modern but not overly stylised fashion, all surrounded by lush well-maintained gardens (lots of bees/butterflies) all leading down to a large pool then across a small road to an amazing cove/beech with private sunshades/loungers and a windsurfing centre (pay extra) Our room was near the pool end of the resort with amazing views of the sea from a large terrace, it was a really good size with modern fittings, again not uber contemporary but nicely done nevertheless. The hotel staff were amazing, in particular Maria on reception - very friendly and always pleased to help, also the breakfast/restaurant staff and Dmitri and his great windsurfing team on the beach. The hotel is at the edge of a small village, we used the island buses/coaches which were very good, they go all over the island for 2 to 3 Euros - on the return make sure you say "NEW" Golden Beach to the driver or you may be dropped at Golden Beach instead.The hotel has the time-table, buses normally on time or only 10 mins late. Also very nice sea walk to next main town called Piso Lavadi. Would recommend island hoping to Naxos and Antiparos very pretty (hire electric bikes!)
