Excellent staff top to bottom! First class treatment! They need to solve the driving back up the mountain to property from Park City problem at gate… pretty stupid to have a guard tell guests they have to use funicular to return but we could drive our vehicle down the mountain no problem from the hotel?!? and the valet actually drove our vehicle back up as we rode the funicular?!? Also the fine dining option Rime needs some attention to food quality. The Brasserie and poolside offerings were on the money but the ‘fancy’ restaurant was below expectations. To their credit they did their best to rectify things and we never had any issues at all with any of the servers or staff anywhere in the property. All very nice and worked hard to make things right. Everything else was phenomenal! Pool, champagne toasts, special animal exhibits, made for an all around high-end experience.

ew normal problems, but the staff overcame everything and made it perfect. Special shout out to Spencer, who works at the pool; he’s probably one of the hardest working and most personable guys I’ve ever met. The servers were fun, too, singing happy birthday. We had room service that was so personable- she even wrote a handwritten note. To top it off, private dining was teasing me about being sick and suggested I eat some sugar with my breakfast. A very special property. Definitely on par with what one would expect from a solid five-star hotel experience by any standard in any country. Unmatched beauty in setting, delicious dining options, over and above on convenience with regard to ski valet and chauffeur service around Park City. The property and the people bring magic to your stay and offer lots to enjoy for the entire family. Our children loved the smores at night, the fresh popcorn when returning from the slopes, the tiny hotel slippers left for them at turn down, and the absolute radiant kindness from all staff. They are running an elite hospitality program in terms of service and training. Please note that in the US we tip generously for this level of service so one should be prepared and have gratuity on hand at all times. For example, at the end of each day, we felt compelled to tip the ski valet team between $40-$50 for our family of four coming in and out all day. Having the Deer Valley Resort desk located in the building made managing lift tickets, booking ski school and private guides quick and convenient. As always I was appalled by the rudeness of one or two guests but found this resort to attract mostly quietly wealthy, friendly, ski-loving families. We will be returning again and again. Next time I hope to see the continued dedication to improving communication among staff regarding guest requests and maintaining current luxury standards with regard to standard amenities (please new hairdryers 😊).

We had a terrific stay at the St. Regis. We loved how warm and helpful the staff were, and the dog friendliness of the property. The rooms are great- and the hotel amenities are spot on.
