Our stay at Villa Tomasa in Panglao Island, Bohol, was simply outstanding. The location is perfect, offering a tranquil retreat while being conveniently close to Alona Beach and local attractions. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated with a touch of Filipino charm. The staff's warm hospitality and local insights made my experience truly memorable. I highly recommend Villa Tomasa for anyone seeking a relaxing and authentic Bohol getaway.

Disappointed.. but still enjoying it

The food was good. The service staff was very friendly helpful and excellent customer service. The room itself was not very great. Wi-Fi bad. Bathroom was not very good. Superior room was not good but it was close to the main walkway. High level room is probably the best option. Honestly though besides that it was a great experience.

On our first day our bathroom flooded we asked to change rooms and they put us in a room with no lock on the door, never received an apology of any kind, seemed like an inconvenience. On the second last day we had a leak in the sink. Overall most of the staff were fantastic but the hotel needs updates. Also very bad wifi.

The question to ask oneself - do you really have to stay on Panglao in general and Alona Beach in particular? If the answer, for whatever reason is yes - then this property is no worse nor better than most in this area. But do expect power outages, no hot water or water at all, mediocre breakfast, crowds and advertisers on the beach and the "main" road, overpriced transportation to/from the hotel, not being able to withdraw more than 10,000 PHP from the ATMs on one transaction and being slapped with 250 PHP fee each time or paying premium to the "money changers." Philippines is a beautiful country and there are way better places to visit to have good memories about.

I was expecting for more since i booked a "Prsedential Suite".. i was disappointed to find there are no sleepers and bath bath robe,.the room was also dusty as if it was not cleaned just before we arrived..the towels are also old, the bathroom smells bad, amoy "kulob" , the shower was so weak, the heater is intermittent, the service water was a refilled water in a glass bottle, there is no telephone inside the room.

The lobby 100 degrees F,,, checked in took about 1 hr,, they downgrade is to two queen beds and we are a couple, the buffet guy on eggs doesn’t know what an eggwhite omelette, he made a over cooked scrambled eggs and put a tons of salt and why? The pool water is like a coconut water meaning really dirty, no parking when we checked in because theres an event in the parking lot, i have 15 more complains but i have no time, well its 3 stars but those are basic stuff,,, the room keys are 1958 standards!!! Lol
