Excellent customer service, comfortable place!

I arrived late in the evening and checked into this charming apartment, but unfortunately discovered the the water had been shut off (no fault of the owner). I contacted the property manager and they immediately moved me to another location that was nearby and completely comfortable. Even though I didn't get to stay in this particular spot, I was very impressed with the service and I enjoyed my stay.

We had reserved our stay at Casa del Horno months in advance, but did not stay there because the company changed our reservation just a few days before our travel, they moved us to a different property in a much less desirable location, but still more-or-less safe area (it was the last building before a pretty questionable part of town). We ended up at Casa la Costa, it was ok, the apartment was nice and clean and everything worked. It is right on the water (actually the balcony is over the water during high tide) and the view is good. The walk to the plaza is a little sketchy feeling, but i believe it was safe, there were several homeless people under a ruined building just across the way, but again i didn't fee it was unsafe, but many may. The character of the place they ended up sending us to was not at all what I had expected from a property in Casco Viejo, it could have easily been in any city. The bigger issue for me was that there was no explanation whatsoever given for the change and no option for any other property. The customer support person on WhatsApp was nice but it was clear that this was a take it or leave it proposition and that no accommodation would be offered or made other than this change. The property we ended up at was one of the options when we were booking our stay and we made the decision to not book it based on its location, but we ended up there anyway. It was ok, but was not the experience we had hoped trip to Panama.

The hosts were very responsive and dealt with minor issues within 30 minutes. Both nights the club next door played loud dance music till 1:30 am. This was on a Monday and Tuesday evening

Das Apartment ist super. Groß, gut ausgestattet und nett eingerichtet. Es liegt auch zentral im schicken Teil der Altstadt. Dort befinden sich aber auch Rooftop-Bars, die laute Musik spielen von 10pm bis ca 2am. Ansonsten ist es sogar recht ruhig. Wer mitfeiern will oder nicht allzu lärmempfindlich ist, der kommt damit klar. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Hier stimmen Preis und Leistung.
