"This property is close to all major attractions including restaurants and beaches. It has great housekeeping, good breakfast and helpful front desk staff. Our room was perfect for our family of four and Giuseppe was a fantastic host from check in, to our breakfast in the morning and for accomodating our check out and bags at check out time. Our only regret is not being there longer. We will absolutely be back!!"

"Very nice residence - walking distance to both beach and old town - lots of restaurants near by and supermarked just on the other side of the road. Nadia who welcomes you is so nice and helpfull - we give the best recommendations"

"This hotell is in prime position, overlooking the water and a 12 minute walk into the town centre. To get to the beach, they have stairs (184 steps, i counted) snd you can either sit on one of the private beaches, or like us, buy a €10 umbrella and ger comfy on the sand (the hotel supllies brach towels, no limit). The staff were all anszjng snd accommodating, could not fault them. Always ups for a chat, with a smile and they even laughed at our Aussie humour. Our room (305, seaview) was ok...

"Mitten im Zentrum von Tropea und doch ruhig (Ende September) Unser Zimmer war sehr groß mit Jacuzzi Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick zum Stromboli. Die beiden Damen sind ebenfalls sehr freudlich. Saverio hat eine sehr freundliche Art. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Er hat viele Tipps für gute Lokale. Zum Stadtstrand nur ein kurzer Treppenabstieg. Von Il Barone werden kostenfrei Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt.Das Wasser ist traumhaft klar."

"Beautiful and tranquil small hotel. Rossella was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was good. The hotel has many stairs, so it may not be a good choice for people with mobility issues. The location was perfect "

"The Lorylu was outstanding. The property was nice but the people surpassed that. Every day started fantastic regardless of your mood at breakfast because Esther was always in a great mood and full of energy which was infectious. Tiziana was special she looked after us like we were family and bailed us out when we desperately needed transport when we didn’t know we needed it. The room was ultra clean and spacious with everything we needed. I would go back there without hesitation."

"Lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. A great pool area with reserved sunbeds for each room. A short walk from a lovely quiet beach (it is up a hill so there is an incline coming back but it’s relatively short and not a problem). It’s a short walk to the town and train station. The views are fabulous with one of the best sunset views in the area! All in all we highly recommend."
