The room was adequate for my needs. Clean and well kept. Could definitely use updating but understand it's a state park and funds have been cut. Was there for 2 nights for group meeting at my nearby camp so was only there to sleep and shower.

Kentucky Dam Village is our usual choice of accommodation when we are visiting family, whether a room at the lodge or a cabin. Kentucky State Parks don’t disappoint, and there is always something unique and personal to the property. Fried bologna at breakfast? Who would have thought that? It was excellent.

Staff was wonderful helping when we had no heat in our room. The system does not work until a certain time of the year.... Restaurant is outstanding. Husband enjoy every meal while there. Only reason I gave a 4 star was because of the heat situation.

Beautiful area. Staff changed our room to one on the ground floor without even being asked when they noticed we were both seniors; my compliments! Really good in-room coffee. Mattresses were pretty soft, probably need to be replaced. A mini fridge added to the rooms would be helpful. Room was clean, spacious, and had a balcony overlooking the lake. I plan to return.

The property is extremely well maintained, all staff in all departments very helpful. The Harbor Lights restaurant is wonderful. Great food more than reasonable prices. Many activities. Wonderful attractions and restaurants in the area. Lots to do.
