The property design was very appealing, modern and beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The food at the restaurants was very good with lots of options. But above anything else, the professionalism and service from the staff at the hotel is the best!! Totally recommend this hotel when you travel to Pagand.

2 nights at the Grand Zuri

The Grand Zuri is a professionally run hotel that would be at home in an Australian capital city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing some building work which wasn’t a problem during my stay.

There is rooms for improvement

Overall the stay is good and pleasant. I comments just hope the management will focus a bit more on the following, as i know the hotel is expanding. The location of the hotel is convenience, it is in the town area and everyone knows bout this hotel. i would say there is rooms for improvement is the services at the restaurant and the food at the restaurant. Guests are not attainable, i have to make my own coffee and call the waiter or waitress to clear the table. Besides, choices of food need to be improved, currently looks more on dessert than main course. more on sweet food than savory food. Room and toilet is clean, no problems, hot water available. Safety Box available in the room. It is still ok for me, some might not, the noise blocks are bit poor, i can hear people pressing the bell outside, closing door, and etc. I'm not sure whether is down or upstairs there is one night around 11 pm if not mistaken, i can still hear people drilling and knocking the walls at toilet.

Nice staff, but aircon didn’t work, a large part of the wall fell off during the night and they don’t serve any alcohol though I don’t think that is their fault?

Coming home... to Grand Zuri Padang...

AS we have stayed at Grand Zuri Padang several times before, our expectations were slightly shattered when we got to our room which was not what we expected....a Superior Twin rather than a Deluxe Kingsize. We could have mis-sighted the type of room. We told the reception and after a bit of enquiring the hotel moved us to a Deluxe room with facilities we expected. The decision on this was taken relatively quickly and we appreciated that. We used the hotel fitness cneter/gym every morning and we found that the equipment had been replaced with new Matrix ones with touch screen and the like. All of the equipment worked OK. Checking out was also a breeze. Overall it was another very good experience staying at Grand Zuri Padang.

Everything is good and to top it up, a gym is also located around the corner within walking distance from the rooms, design is good and the breakfast buffet has quite a variety to choose from. Will definitely be booking it again if I'm heading to Padang again.

Pleasant and comfortable hotel stay

I had a one night transit in Padang. The Grand Zuri was clean, comfortable, and served a good breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Cable TV was nice. Location was also good as it is in walking distance to local shops and restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the beach front. I also enjoyed using their small but well equipped fitness room with new weights and weight machines.
